Bind up this testimony of warning and seal up God’s instruction among my disciples.

Tie up and seal this warning that the Lord said to you through me. Preserve among my followers what he taught you through me.

“ But you, Daniel, close up these words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will dash about, and knowledge will increase.”

He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.The one who has accepted his testimony has confirmed clearly that God is truthful.

If we accept the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because this is the testimony of God that he has testified concerning his Son.( The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning his Son.)And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.The one who has the Son has this eternal life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have this eternal life.

All your children will be followers of the LORD, and your children will enjoy great prosperity.

Then one of the elders said to me,“ Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has conquered; thus he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”

So I threw myself down at his feet to worship him, but he said,“ Do not do this! I am only a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony about Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony about Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

The LORD’s loyal followers receive his guidance, and he reveals his covenantal demands to them.

Then I saw in the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne a scroll written on the front and back and sealed with seven seals.

The LORD told me,“ Take a large tablet and inscribe these words on it with an ordinary stylus:‘ Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.’Then I will summon as my reliable witnesses Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah.”

When he was alone, those around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.He said to them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those outside, everything is in parables,

All the words of my mouth are righteous; there is nothing in them twisted or crooked.All of them are clear to the discerning and upright to those who find knowledge.

The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

In the house once again, the disciples asked him about this.

Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that would be spoken.

Jehoiada led out the king’s son and placed on him the crown and the royal insignia. They proclaimed him king and poured olive oil on his head. They clapped their hands and cried out,“ Long live the king!”

He did not speak to them without a parable. But privately he explained everything to his own disciples.

These are the stipulations, statutes, and ordinances that Moses spoke to the Israelites after he had brought them out of Egypt,

He said,“ Go, Daniel. For these matters are closed and sealed until the time of the end.Many will be purified, made clean, and refined, but the wicked will go on being wicked. None of the wicked will understand, though the wise will understand.

Then you must recall the LORD’s instructions and the prophetic testimony of what would happen. Certainly they say such things because their minds are spiritually darkened.

When the seven thunders spoke, I was preparing to write, but just then I heard a voice from heaven say,“ Seal up what the seven thunders spoke and do not write it down.”

“ Seventy weeks have been determined concerning your people and your holy city to put an end to rebellion, to bring sin to completion, to atone for iniquity, to bring in perpetual righteousness, to seal up the prophetic vision, and to anoint a most holy place.

He replied,“ You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not.

To you this entire prophetic revelation is like words in a sealed scroll. When they hand it to one who can read and say,“ Read this,” he responds,“ I can’t, because it is sealed.”Or when they hand the scroll to one who can’t read and say,“ Read this,” he says,“ I can’t read.”

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give him some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on that stone will be written a new name that no one can understand except the one who receives it.’
