He will be a holy place; for both Israel and Judah he will be a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.

Then the Lord will be a holy place of safety for you. But that’s not true for many people in Israel and Judah. He will be a stone that causes them to trip. He will be a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.

And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

He will keep you safe. But to Israel and Judah he will be a stone that makes people stumble, a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.

He will be a sanctuary; but for the two houses of Israel, he will be a stone to stumble over and a rock to trip over, and a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

因此你要说：‘主耶和华这样说：我虽然把他们远远地迁到列国之中，使他们分散在各地，我还要在他们所到的各地暂作他们的圣所。’

神是我们的避难所，是我们的力量，是我们在患难中随时都可得到的帮助。因此，地虽然震动，群山虽然崩塌入海洋的深处，我们也不害怕。

耶和华必使火炭落在恶人身上，烈火、硫磺和旱风是他们杯中的分。

耶和华的名是坚固的高台，义人投奔，就得安全。

他们就厌弃耶稣。耶稣对他们说：“先知除了在本乡本家之外，没有不受人尊敬的。”

愿他们的筵席在他们面前变为网罗、报应和陷阱（按照《马索拉文本》，“报应和陷阱”应作“在他们平安的时候，变为陷阱”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译。又按照《他耳根》或译：“愿他们的平安祭筵变为陷阱”）。

“谁先给了他，以致他要偿还呢？”

我的子民哪！快来，进入你们的内室，把你们的门关上；隐藏片刻，直到神的忿怒过去。

正如网罗临到全地的所有居民。

也必有亭子，日间可以使人得阴凉、避炎热，也可以作避难时藏身之所，或作躲避狂风暴雨之处。

地上的居民哪！恐惧、陷坑和网罗，都临近你们！那逃避恐惧声音的，必堕入陷坑；那从陷坑里上来的，必被网罗缠住；因为天上的窗都开了，地的根基也震动了。

大卫也说：“愿他们的筵席成为他们的网罗、陷阱、绊脚石和报应；愿他们的眼睛昏暗，不能看见；愿他们的背脊常常弯曲。”那么我要说，他们失足是要倒下去吗？绝对不是！反而因为他们的过犯，救恩就临到外族人，为了要激起他们奋发。
