他又把他的儿子用火烧为祭（“把他的儿子用火烧为祭”直译是“使他的儿子经过进入火中”），并且算命、观兆，交鬼和行巫术；多行耶和华看为恶的事，惹他发怒。

我呼唤，你们不肯听从；我伸手，没有人理会。

恶人所怕的，必临到他身上；义人所愿的，必蒙应允。

现在，因你们行了这一切事，我不断恳切告诫你们，你们却不听；我呼唤你们，你们却不答话。”这是耶和华的宣告。

他行耶和华看为恶的事，好像耶和华在以色列人面前赶走的民族所行的可憎恶的事。

所以，他们必自食其果，必饱尝自己所设计谋的伤害。愚蒙人的背道必杀害他们自己，愚昧人的安逸必毁灭他们自己；

米该雅说：“因此，你要听耶和华的话；我看见耶和华坐在他的宝座上，天上的万军都侍立在他的左右。耶和华说：‘谁去引诱亚哈，使他上基列的拉末阵亡呢？’有说这样的，有说那样的。后来有一个灵出来，站在耶和华面前，说：‘我去引诱他。’耶和华问他：‘你用什么方法呢？’他回答：‘我要出去，在亚哈所有先知的口中，作说谎的灵。’耶和华说：‘你可以去引诱他，你也必能成功，你去这样行吧！’现在，耶和华已经把说谎的灵放在你这些先知的口中，耶和华已经命定灾祸临到你。”

因为必有假基督和假先知出现，显大神迹和奇事；如果可以的话，他们连选民也要迷惑。

因此，我就任凭他们心里刚硬，随着自己的计谋行事。

为什么我来的时候，没有人在呢？为什么我呼唤的时候，没有人答应呢？难道我的手太软弱不能救赎吗？或是我没有能力拯救吗？看哪！我以斥责使海干涸，我使江河变成旷野，江河的鱼因无水发臭，因干渴而死。

“天国好像一个王，为儿子摆设婚筵。他派仆人去叫被邀请的人来参加婚筵。但他们不肯来。他再派另一些仆人去，说：‘你们告诉被邀请的人，我已经预备好了筵席，公牛和肥畜已经宰了，一切都预备妥当。来参加婚筵吧！’但那些人却不理会就走了；有的去耕田，有的去作买卖，其余的抓住王的仆人，凌辱他们，并且把他们杀了。王就发怒，派兵消灭那些凶手，焚毁他们的城。

并且在那些沉沦的人身上，行各样不义的欺诈，因为他们不领受爱真理的心，使他们得救。因此，神就使错谬的思想运行在他们当中，让他们相信虚谎，叫所有不信真理倒喜爱不义的人，都被定罪。

这人民常常当面惹我发怒，在园中献祭，在砖坛上烧香，
