Will you hold yourself back for these things, Yahweh? Will you keep silent and punish us very severely?

耶和华啊，对这些事，你还要保持克制吗？你还要静默，使我们极度受苦待吗？

耶和華啊，有這些事，你還忍得住嗎？你仍靜默使我們深受苦難嗎？

耶和華歟、勢既如此、爾猶容忍乎、爾仍默然、重苦我儕乎、

耶和華與、毋遐棄予、毋扑責予、毋屯爾膏。

主歟、事有若是、主猶自忍乎、主猶緘默、使我受苦至極乎、

After all this, Lord, will you hold yourself back? Will you keep silent and punish us beyond measure?

Lord, won’t you help us even after everything that’s happened? Will you keep silent and punish us more than we can stand?

Will you restrain yourself at these things, O Lord? Will you keep silent, and afflict us so terribly?

After all this, Lord, must you still refuse to help us? Will you continue to be silent and punish us?

LORD, after all this, will you restrain yourself? Will you keep silent and afflict us severely?

Will You restrain Yourself at these things, Lord? Will You keep silent and afflict us beyond measure?

Will You restrain Yourself because of these things, O Lord? Will You hold Your peace, and afflict us very severely?

Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O Jehovah? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

Lord, after all this, will You restrain Yourself? Will You keep silent and afflict severely?

Wilt thou refrain thyself for these[ things], O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

In light of all this, how can you still hold back, LORD? How can you be silent and continue to humiliate us?

“ I have been silent a long time. I have been quiet and restrained myself. Now I will cry out like a travailing woman. I will both gasp and pant.

How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it from your chest and consume them!

God, don’t keep silent. Don’t keep silent, and don’t be still, God.

Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, Yahweh. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.Don’t deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Don’t forget the life of your poor forever.

Then Yahweh’s angel replied,“ O Yahweh of Armies, how long will you not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which you have had indignation these seventy years?”

How long, Yahweh? Will you be angry forever? Will your jealousy burn like fire?

Why do you stand far off, Yahweh? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

They cried with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.Yahweh God of Armies, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?

How long, Yahweh? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire?Remember how short my time is, for what vanity you have created all the children of men!What man is he who shall live and not see death, who shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.Lord, where are your former loving kindnesses, which you swore to David in your faithfulness?Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servants, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the mighty peoples,With which your enemies have mocked, Yahweh, with which they have mocked the footsteps of your anointed one.
