I will recount the steadfast love of the Lord, the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has granted us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel that he has granted them according to his compassion, according to the abundance of his steadfast love.

耶和華矜恤我儕、及以色列家、恩惠豐隆、我將宣揚其仁慈、而頌美之、

選民曰、耶和華自昔、眷顧以色列族、矜憫無涯、恩膏甚溥、我念此而頌美焉。

我讚主之仁慈、頌揚主、因主大施矜憫、發仁慈、恩待我儕、施洪恩於以色列族、

I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us— yes, the many good things he has done for Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses.

I will talk about the kind things the Lord has done. I’ll praise him for everything he’s done for us. He has done many good things for the nation of Israel. That’s because he loves us and is very kind to us.

I will tell of the Lord’s unfailing love. I will praise the Lord for all he has done. I will rejoice in his great goodness to Israel, which he has granted according to his mercy and love.

I will make known the LORD’s faithful love and the LORD’s praiseworthy acts, because of all the LORD has done for us— even the many good things he has done for the house of Israel, which he did for them based on his compassion and the abundance of his faithful love.

I will make mention of the mercies of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has granted us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has granted them according to His compassion And according to the abundance of His mercies.

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord And the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, According to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses.

I will make mention of the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah, and the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

I will make known the Lord’s faithful love and the Lord’s praiseworthy acts, because of all the Lord has done for us— even the many good things He has done for the house of Israel and has done for them based on His compassion and the abundance of His faithful love.

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD,[ and] the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

I will tell of the faithful acts of the LORD, of the LORD’s praiseworthy deeds. I will tell about all the LORD did for us, the many good things he did for the family of Israel, because of his compassion and great faithfulness.

I will tell of the loving kindnesses of Yahweh and the praises of Yahweh, according to all that Yahweh has given to us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has given to them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.

And they captured fortified cities and a rich land, and took possession of houses full of all good things, cisterns already hewn, vineyards, olive orchards and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filled and became fat and delighted themselves in your great goodness.

On the eighth day he sent the people away, and they blessed the king and went to their homes joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the Lord had shown to David his servant and to Israel his people.

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared,he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

“ And when I passed by you and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you in your blood,‘ Live!’ I said to you in your blood,‘ Live!’I made you flourish like a plant of the field. And you grew up and became tall and arrived at full adornment. Your breasts were formed, and your hair had grown; yet you were naked and bare.“ When I passed by you again and saw you, behold, you were at the age for love, and I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness; I made my vow to you and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Lord God, and you became mine.Then I bathed you with water and washed off your blood from you and anointed you with oil.I clothed you also with embroidered cloth and shod you with fine leather. I wrapped you in fine linen and covered you with silk.And I adorned you with ornaments and put bracelets on your wrists and a chain on your neck.And I put a ring on your nose and earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown on your head.Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen and silk and embroidered cloth. You ate fine flour and honey and oil. You grew exceedingly beautiful and advanced to royalty.And your renown went forth among the nations because of your beauty, for it was perfect through the splendor that I had bestowed on you, declares the Lord God.

Even in their own kingdom, and amid your great goodness that you gave them, and in the large and rich land that you set before them, they did not serve you or turn from their wicked works.

But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.

For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.

Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!

You are the Lord, the God who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans and gave him the name Abraham.You found his heart faithful before you, and made with him the covenant to give to his offspring the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite. And you have kept your promise, for you are righteous.“ And you saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt and heard their cry at the Red Sea,and performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh and all his servants and all the people of his land, for you knew that they acted arrogantly against our fathers. And you made a name for yourself, as it is to this day.And you divided the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on dry land, and you cast their pursuers into the depths, as a stone into mighty waters.By a pillar of cloud you led them in the day, and by a pillar of fire in the night to light for them the way in which they should go.You came down on Mount Sinai and spoke with them from heaven and gave them right rules and true laws, good statutes and commandments,and you made known to them your holy Sabbath and commanded them commandments and statutes and a law by Moses your servant.You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger and brought water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and you told them to go in to possess the land that you had sworn to give them.

Therefore you gave them into the hand of their enemies, who made them suffer. And in the time of their suffering they cried out to you and you heard them from heaven, and according to your great mercies you gave them saviors who saved them from the hand of their enemies.

you in your great mercies did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of cloud to lead them in the way did not depart from them by day, nor the pillar of fire by night to light for them the way by which they should go.You gave your good Spirit to instruct them and did not withhold your manna from their mouth and gave them water for their thirst.Forty years you sustained them in the wilderness, and they lacked nothing. Their clothes did not wear out and their feet did not swell.

Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!

Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.

and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

They forgot his works and the wonders that he had shown them.In the sight of their fathers he performed wonders in the land of Egypt, in the fields of Zoan.He divided the sea and let them pass through it, and made the waters stand like a heap.In the daytime he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a fiery light.He split rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep.He made streams come out of the rock and caused waters to flow down like rivers.Yet they sinned still more against him, rebelling against the Most High in the desert.They tested God in their heart by demanding the food they craved.They spoke against God, saying,“ Can God spread a table in the wilderness?He struck the rock so that water gushed out and streams overflowed. Can he also give bread or provide meat for his people?”Therefore, when the Lord heard, he was full of wrath; a fire was kindled against Jacob; his anger rose against Israel,because they did not believe in God and did not trust his saving power.Yet he commanded the skies above and opened the doors of heaven,and he rained down on them manna to eat and gave them the grain of heaven.Man ate of the bread of the angels; he sent them food in abundance.He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens, and by his power he led out the south wind;he rained meat on them like dust, winged birds like the sand of the seas;he let them fall in the midst of their camp, all around their dwellings.And they ate and were well filled, for he gave them what they craved.But before they had satisfied their craving, while the food was still in their mouths,the anger of God rose against them, and he killed the strongest of them and laid low the young men of Israel.In spite of all this, they still sinned; despite his wonders, they did not believe.So he made their days vanish like a breath, and their years in terror.When he killed them, they sought him; they repented and sought God earnestly.They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God their redeemer.But they flattered him with their mouths; they lied to him with their tongues.Their heart was not steadfast toward him; they were not faithful to his covenant.Yet he, being compassionate, atoned for their iniquity and did not destroy them; he restrained his anger often and did not stir up all his wrath.He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes and comes not again.How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness and grieved him in the desert!They tested God again and again and provoked the Holy One of Israel.They did not remember his power or the day when he redeemed them from the foe,when he performed his signs in Egypt and his marvels in the fields of Zoan.He turned their rivers to blood, so that they could not drink of their streams.He sent among them swarms of flies, which devoured them, and frogs, which destroyed them.He gave their crops to the destroying locust and the fruit of their labor to the locust.He destroyed their vines with hail and their sycamores with frost.He gave over their cattle to the hail and their flocks to thunderbolts.He let loose on them his burning anger, wrath, indignation, and distress, a company of destroying angels.He made a path for his anger; he did not spare them from death, but gave their lives over to the plague.He struck down every firstborn in Egypt, the firstfruits of their strength in the tents of Ham.Then he led out his people like sheep and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.He led them in safety, so that they were not afraid, but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.And he brought them to his holy land, to the mountain which his right hand had won.He drove out nations before them; he apportioned them for a possession and settled the tribes of Israel in their tents.Yet they tested and rebelled against the Most High God and did not keep his testimonies,but turned away and acted treacherously like their fathers; they twisted like a deceitful bow.For they provoked him to anger with their high places; they moved him to jealousy with their idols.When God heard, he was full of wrath, and he utterly rejected Israel.He forsook his dwelling at Shiloh, the tent where he dwelt among mankind,and delivered his power to captivity, his glory to the hand of the foe.He gave his people over to the sword and vented his wrath on his heritage.Fire devoured their young men, and their young women had no marriage song.Their priests fell by the sword, and their widows made no lamentation.Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, like a strong man shouting because of wine.And he put his adversaries to rout; he put them to everlasting shame.He rejected the tent of Joseph; he did not choose the tribe of Ephraim,but he chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loves.He built his sanctuary like the high heavens, like the earth, which he has founded forever.He chose David his servant and took him from the sheepfolds;from following the nursing ewes he brought him to shepherd Jacob his people, Israel his inheritance.With upright heart he shepherded them and guided them with his skillful hand.

Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?

The Lord passed before him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness,keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”

let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who alone does great wonders, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who by understanding made the heavens, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who spread out the earth above the waters, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who made the great lights, for his steadfast love endures forever;the sun to rule over the day, for his steadfast love endures forever;the moon and stars to rule over the night, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt, for his steadfast love endures forever;and brought Israel out from among them, for his steadfast love endures forever;with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who divided the Red Sea in two, for his steadfast love endures forever;and made Israel pass through the midst of it, for his steadfast love endures forever;but overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who led his people through the wilderness, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who struck down great kings, for his steadfast love endures forever;and killed mighty kings, for his steadfast love endures forever;Sihon, king of the Amorites, for his steadfast love endures forever;and Og, king of Bashan, for his steadfast love endures forever;and gave their land as a heritage, for his steadfast love endures forever;a heritage to Israel his servant, for his steadfast love endures forever.It is he who remembered us in our low estate, for his steadfast love endures forever;and rescued us from our foes, for his steadfast love endures forever;he who gives food to all flesh, for his steadfast love endures forever.Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.

Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!

On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their homes, joyful and glad of heart for the prosperity that the Lord had granted to David and to Solomon and to Israel his people.

For how great is his goodness, and how great his beauty! Grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the young women.

But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend;you whom I took from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest corners, saying to you,“ You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off”;

He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and rules to Israel.He has not dealt thus with any other nation; they do not know his rules. Praise the Lord!

Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered,O offspring of Abraham, his servant, children of Jacob, his chosen ones!He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations,the covenant that he made with Abraham, his sworn promise to Isaac,which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,saying,“ To you I will give the land of Canaan as your portion for an inheritance.”When they were few in number, of little account, and sojourners in it,wandering from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,he allowed no one to oppress them; he rebuked kings on their account,saying,“ Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm!”When he summoned a famine on the land and broke all supply of bread,he had sent a man ahead of them, Joseph, who was sold as a slave.His feet were hurt with fetters; his neck was put in a collar of iron;until what he had said came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him.The king sent and released him; the ruler of the peoples set him free;he made him lord of his house and ruler of all his possessions,to bind his princes at his pleasure and to teach his elders wisdom.Then Israel came to Egypt; Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.And the Lord made his people very fruitful and made them stronger than their foes.He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants.He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.They performed his signs among them and miracles in the land of Ham.He sent darkness, and made the land dark; they did not rebel against his words.He turned their waters into blood and caused their fish to die.Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the chambers of their kings.He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats throughout their country.He gave them hail for rain, and fiery lightning bolts through their land.He struck down their vines and fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.He spoke, and the locusts came, young locusts without number,which devoured all the vegetation in their land and ate up the fruit of their ground.He struck down all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their strength.Then he brought out Israel with silver and gold, and there was none among his tribes who stumbled.Egypt was glad when they departed, for dread of them had fallen upon it.He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light by night.They asked, and he brought quail, and gave them bread from heaven in abundance.He opened the rock, and water gushed out; it flowed through the desert like a river.For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham, his servant.So he brought his people out with joy, his chosen ones with singing.And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the fruit of the peoples’ toil,that they might keep his statutes and observe his laws. Praise the Lord!

to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!

Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.

In overflowing anger for a moment I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer.

but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love;

Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who bore you; for he was but one when I called him, that I might bless him and multiply him.

‘ The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.’Please pardon the iniquity of this people, according to the greatness of your steadfast love, just as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt until now.”

And I will betroth you to me forever. I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy.
