Look down from heaven and see, from your lofty throne, holy and glorious. Where are your zeal and your might? Your tenderness and compassion are withheld from us.

Lord, look down from heaven. Look down from your holy and glorious throne. Where is your great love for us? Where is your power? Why don’t you show us your tender love and concern?

自天上聖室俯鑒爾民以色列族、並所誓我祖給我產乳與蜜之地、俱蒙錫嘏。○

萬有之主上帝兮、回爾心志、自天鑒察、封植此樹兮、

主居乎天、我舉目以觀瞻兮、

以法蓮乎、我安忍舍爾、以色列乎、我焉肯棄爾、豈能視爾若押馬、敗爾若西編、我回厥志、慈愛之念、頓發於中、

耶和華曰、以法蓮豈非我之赤子、我所眷愛者哉、予責之、輒生憐念、予矜憫為懷、復加以撫恤。

居彼聖所、遍覽億兆兮、

耶和華曰、天乃我坐位、地乃我足凳、爾曹何殿以容我、何地以安我乎。

爾存心矜憫、自古為昭兮、茲將求爾眷念兮、

維主在昔、待大闢以恩、加以盟約、必踐前言、今安在兮、

以仁義為護胸、以救人為兜鍪、以伸冤為衵服、以熱中為長衣。

祭司利未人、為民祝嘏、聲聞於上、及於聖殿明宮。

賴吾上帝、以矜恤之心、使旭日自上臨我、

夫婦豈忘哺乳之子、不慈甫產之嬰、彼或忘子、我不忘爾。

然上帝豈居於地乎。穹蒼不足以居爾、天上明宮亦不足以居爾、況我所建之殿乎。

我永生之主、至聖至高、居聖所、坐高位、凡謙卑遜順者、我與偕居、活潑其心神、暢快其意志。

耶和華與、爾顯大能、彼不瞻望、惟爾熱中祐民、降火燬敵、令彼見此而愧。

主豈永棄我躬、不復加以矜憫、靳其仁慈、弗踐其應許兮、上帝詎忘其恩澤、絕其哀矜、而懷震怒兮。

耶和華在上、聖殿崇高、垂鑒下土兮、俘囚欷歔、彼其聞之、人將就戮、彼其拯之兮。

望耶和華、自天垂顧兮。

民遭患難、主懷憂戚、自天遣使、以拯其災、特加眷愛、以贖其身、自昔迄今、扶翼之者屢矣。

先知祈曰、願耶和華、勃然而興、展厥臂力、與昔無異、昔滅喇合、擊鱷魚、豈非爾乎、使滄海水涸、中判為途、以濟得拯之民者、豈非爾乎。

繼大闢之位、其國昌大、長享綏安、保定之、延釐之、維公與正、自今而後、永世靡暨、萬有之主耶和華、必熱中而行之。
