Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

A seraph flew over to me. He was holding a hot coal. He had used tongs to take it from the altar.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.

另有一位天使拿着金香炉来，站在祭坛旁边；有许多香赐给他，要和众圣徒的祈祷一同献在宝座前的金坛上。那香的烟和众圣徒的祈祷从天使的手中一同升到上帝面前。天使拿着香炉，盛满了坛上的火，倒在地上；就有雷轰、响声、闪电、地震。

按着律法，几乎每样东西都是用血洁净的；没有流血，就没有赦罪。这样，照着天上样式做的物件必须用这些礼仪去洁净，但那天上的一切，自然当用更美的祭物去洁净。因为基督并没有进了人手所造的圣所—这不过是真圣所的影像—而是进到天上，如今为我们出现在上帝面前。他也无须多次将自己献上，像大祭司每年带着牛羊的血进入至圣所。如果这样，他从创世以来就必须多次受苦了。但如今，他在今世的末期显现，仅一次把自己献为祭，好除掉罪。

耶和华对那身穿细麻衣的人说：“你进到基路伯下面旋转的轮子中，从基路伯之间取出火炭装满两手掌，撒在城上。”我亲眼看见他进去。

他要从耶和华面前的坛上取盛满火炭的香炉，再拿一捧捣细的香料，把这些都带入幔子内。

我们有一祭坛，上面的祭物是那些在会幕中供职的人无权可吃的。

关于使者，他说：“上帝以风为使者，以火焰为仆役。”

众天使不都是事奉的灵，奉差遣为那将要承受救恩的人服务的吗？

我是用水给你们施洗，叫你们悔改；但那在我以后来的，能力比我更大，我就是给他提鞋子也不配，他要用圣灵与火给你们施洗。

又有舌头如火焰向他们显现，分开落在他们每个人身上。

上有撒拉弗侍立，各有六个翅膀：两个翅膀遮脸，两个翅膀遮脚，两个翅膀飞翔，

我正在祷告中说话，先前在异象中所见的那位加百列，约在献晚祭的时候迅速飞到我这里来。他指教我说：“但以理啊，现在我来要使你有智慧，有聪明。你刚开始恳求的时候，就有命令发出。现在我来告诉你，因你是蒙爱的；所以你要思想这事，明白这异象。
