Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

A seraph flew over to me. He was holding a hot coal. He had used tongs to take it from the altar.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.

另外有一位天使來了，拿著金香爐，站在祭壇前。有許多香賜給了他，好與所有聖徒的祈禱一同獻在寶座前的金壇上。那香的煙和眾聖徒的祈禱，就從天使手中一同升到神面前。天使拿著香爐，用壇上的火把它裝滿了，投在地上；於是就有雷轟、響聲、閃電和地震。

按著律法，幾乎所有都是用血潔淨的，如果沒有流血，就沒有赦免。照著天上樣式作的既然必須這樣去潔淨，天上物體的本身，就應該用更美的祭品去潔淨了。因為基督不是進了人手所做的聖所（那不過是真聖所的表象），而是進到天上，現在替我們顯露在神的面前。他不必多次把自己獻上，好像大祭司每年帶著不是自己的血進入至聖所一樣。如果這樣，他從創世以來，就必須受許多次的苦了。可是現在他在這世代的終結，只顯現一次，把自己作為祭品獻上，好除掉罪。

主對那身穿細麻布衣服的人說：“你進到基路伯以下的輪子之間那裡去；從基路伯之間，用兩手捧滿火炭，然後把它們撒在城上。”他就在我眼前進去了。

從耶和華面前的祭壇上，拿一個盛滿火炭的香爐，又拿一捧搗細的芬芳香料，帶進幔子裡，

我們有一座祭壇，壇上的祭物，是那些在會幕中供職的人沒有權利吃的。

論到天使，說：“神以他的天使為風，以他的僕役為火燄。”

天使不都是服役的靈，奉差遣為那些要承受救恩的人效勞嗎？

我用水給你們施洗，表示你們悔改；但在我以後要來的那一位，能力比我更大，我就是替他提鞋也沒有資格。他要用聖靈與火給你們施洗。

又有火燄般的舌頭顯現出來，分別落在他們各人身上。

在他上面有撒拉弗侍立，各有六個翅膀；用兩個翅膀遮臉，兩個翅膀遮腳，兩個翅膀飛翔。

我還在禱告說話的時候，我先前在異象中所見的那位樣貌像人的加百列，約在獻晚祭的時候，快速地飛（“快速地飛”原文意思難確定，或譯：“在精疲力竭時”）到我面前來。他向我解釋，說：“但以理啊！現在我來，要使你有智慧，有聰明。你開始懇求的時候，就有命令發出。因為你是大蒙眷愛的，所以我來告訴你；你要留意這信息，明白這異象。
