It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord. He was seated on his throne. His long robe filled the temple. He was highly honored.

Isaiah was referring to Jesus when he said this, because he saw the future and spoke of the Messiah’s glory.

The Temple was filled with smoke from God’s glory and power. No one could enter the Temple until the seven angels had completed pouring out the seven plagues.

“ That is why they stand in front of God’s throne and serve him day and night in his Temple. And he who sits on the throne will give them shelter.They will never again be hungry or thirsty; they will never be scorched by the heat of the sun.For the Lamb on the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to springs of life giving water. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like purest wool. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire,

This is what the Lord says:“ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you build me a temple as good as that? Could you build me such a resting place?

Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who was sitting on the throne. There was writing on the inside and the outside of the scroll, and it was sealed with seven seals.

Who can be compared with the Lord our God, who is enthroned on high?

There they saw the God of Israel. Under his feet there seemed to be a surface of brilliant blue lapis lazuli, as clear as the sky itself.And though these nobles of Israel gazed upon God, he did not destroy them. In fact, they ate a covenant meal, eating and drinking in his presence!

Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth.

As they stood with wings lowered, a voice spoke from beyond the crystal surface above them.Above this surface was something that looked like a throne made of blue lapis lazuli. And on this throne high above was a figure whose appearance resembled a man.From what appeared to be his waist up, he looked like gleaming amber, flickering like a fire. And from his waist down, he looked like a burning flame, shining with splendor.All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining in the clouds on a rainy day. This is what the glory of the Lord looked like to me. When I saw it, I fell face down on the ground, and I heard someone’s voice speaking to me.

that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else— not only in this world but also in the world to come.

“ But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne.

He alone can never die, and he lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach him. No human eye has ever seen him, nor ever will. All honor and power to him forever! Amen.

And instantly I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne in heaven and someone sitting on it.

In my vision I saw what appeared to be a throne of blue lapis lazuli above the crystal surface over the heads of the cherubim.

the twenty four elders fall down and worship the one sitting on the throne( the one who lives forever and ever). And they lay their crowns before the throne and say,

The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this:“ I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.

Then Micaiah continued,“ Listen to what the Lord says! I saw the Lord sitting on his throne with all the armies of heaven around him, on his right and on his left.

When the priests came out of the Holy Place, a thick cloud filled the Temple of the Lord.The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of the Lord.

“ Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.”

I speak to him face to face, clearly, and not in riddles! He sees the Lord as he is. So why were you not afraid to criticize my servant Moses?”

On July 31 of my thirtieth year, while I was with the Judean exiles beside the Kebar River in Babylon, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.

Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.

These are the visions that Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. He saw these visions during the years when Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah were kings of Judah.

In that wonderful day you will sing:“ Thank the Lord! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is!

The rest of the events of Uzziah’s reign, from beginning to end, are recorded by the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz.When Uzziah died, he was buried with his ancestors; his grave was in a nearby burial field belonging to the kings, for the people said,“ He had leprosy.” And his son Jotham became the next king.

And they cried to the mountains and the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.

He stepped forward and took the scroll from the right hand of the one sitting on the throne.

When Uzziah died, he was buried with his ancestors in the City of David. And his son Jotham became the next king.
