The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace.

They don’t know how to live at peace with others. What they do isn’t fair. They lead twisted lives. No one who lives like that will enjoy peace and rest.

They don’t know where to find peace or what it means to be just and good. They have mapped out crooked roads, and no one who follows them knows a moment’s peace.

惟獨惡人，好像翻騰的海，不得平靜；其中的水常湧出污穢和淤泥來。我的神說：惡人必不得平安！

要照亮坐在黑暗中死蔭裏的人，把我們的腳引到平安的路上。

行動正直的，必蒙拯救；行事彎曲的，立時跌倒。

你們當在耶路撒冷的街上跑來跑去，在寬闊處尋找，看看有一人行公義求誠實沒有？若有，我就赦免這城。

耶和華說：惡人必不得平安！

以色列人哪，你們當聽耶和華的話。耶和華與這地的居民爭辯，因這地上無誠實，無良善，無人認識神。但起假誓，不踐前言，殺害，偷盜，姦淫，行強暴，殺人流血，接連不斷。

在他們的道中彎曲，在他們的路上偏僻。

世人哪，你們默然不語，真合公義嗎？施行審判，豈按正直嗎？不然！你們是心中作惡；你們在地上秤出你們手所行的強暴。

並且公平轉而退後，公義站在遠處；誠實在街上仆倒，正直也不得進入。誠實少見；離惡的人反成掠物。那時，耶和華看見沒有公平，甚不喜悅。

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們將薄荷、茴香、芹菜獻上十分之一，那律法上更重的事，就是公義、憐憫、信實，反倒不行了。這更重的是你們當行的；那也是不可不行的。

平安的路，他們未曾知道；

至於那偏行彎曲道路的人，耶和華必使他和作惡的人一同出去受刑。願平安歸於以色列！

萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家；他所喜愛的樹就是猶大人。他指望的是公平，誰知倒有暴虐；指望的是公義，誰知倒有冤聲。

她的道是安樂；她的路全是平安。

國為列國之首，人最着名，且為以色列家所歸向，在錫安和撒馬利亞山安逸無慮的，有禍了！你們要過到甲尼察看，從那裏往大城哈馬去，又下到非利士人的迦特，看那些國比你們的國還強嗎？境界比你們的境界還寬嗎？你們以為降禍的日子還遠，坐在位上盡行強暴。你們躺臥在象牙牀上，舒身在榻上，吃羣中的羊羔，棚裏的牛犢；彈琴鼓瑟唱消閑的歌曲，為自己製造樂器，如同大衛所造的；以大碗喝酒，用上等的油抹身，卻不為約瑟的苦難擔憂。
