就是高傲的眼目、撒谎的舌头、沾满无辜人血的手、

因为从里面，就是从人心里发出种种恶念：淫乱、偷窃、杀人、通奸、贪心、恶意、欺诈、好色、嫉妒、毁谤、骄傲、愚妄，

他们的脚步为杀人流血而飞快，他们的路上只有毁灭和惨祸；和平之路，他们从来不知道。

因为他们的脚向恶事奔跑，他们快速地杀人流血。

愚妄人的计谋都是罪，讥讽者为人所憎恶。

因为你们的双手被血染污，你们的指头被罪孽玷污；你们的嘴唇说出虚谎之言，你们的舌头吐露不义之语。

你的地上必不再听见残暴的事，你的境内也不再听见毁坏和破败的事；你必称你的城墙为“救恩”，称你的城门为“赞美”。

这样，你们就见证了自己是杀害先知们的那些人的后代。你们去充满你们祖先的恶贯吧！“你们这些蛇类，这些毒蛇的子孙！你们怎么能逃避地狱的惩罚呢？看，我为此差派先知、智者、经师到你们这里来；有些你们要杀害、要钉上十字架，有些要在会堂里鞭打，从一个城追逼到另一个城。所以，从义人亚伯的血起，直到你们在圣所和祭坛之间所杀的巴拉加的儿子撒迦利亚的血为止，在地上所流的义人的血都要归在你们身上。我确实地告诉你们：这一切都要临到这世代。“耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷！这城杀害先知们，又用石头砸死被差到她这里的人！我多次想聚集你的儿女，像母鸡把自己的小鸡聚集在翅膀下，可是你们不愿意！

随后，我看见那女人喝醉了圣徒们的血，以及为耶稣做见证之人的血。我看到她就大大惊奇。

彼得对他说：“你的银子和你一起灭亡吧！因为你以为神的恩赐可以用钱买到！你在这件事上无份无关，因为在神面前你的心不正。所以你应当为这恶事悔改，向主祈求，或许你心中的意念因此被赦免。

恶人的意念，为耶和华所憎恶；恩慈的言语，却是纯净的。
