其網不能為衣、其工不能自蔽、邪慝為其工、強暴在其手、

所織者不能為衣、所作者不能自蔽、所為者惟惡事、所行者惟暴虐。

Their cobwebs are useless for clothing; they cannot cover themselves with what they make. Their deeds are evil deeds, and acts of violence are in their hands.

Those people weave their evil plans together like a spider’s web. But the webs they make can’t be used as clothes. They can’t cover themselves with what they make. Their acts are evil. They do things to harm others.

Their webs will not serve as clothing; men will not cover themselves with what they make. Their works are works of iniquity, and deeds of violence are in their hands.

Their webs can’t be made into clothing, and nothing they do is productive. All their activity is filled with sin, and violence is their trademark.

Their webs cannot become clothing, and they cannot cover themselves with their works. Their works are sinful works, and violent acts are in their hands.

現在我要親自宣告你的『義』和作為，但它們對你毫無益處！

耶和華宣告：「禍哉！悖逆的兒女！他們所行的計劃不出於我，所立的盟約不出於我的靈，致使他們罪上加罪。

你們與死亡立的約必廢除，與陰間定的協議也立不住；衝擊而來的鞭子經過時，你們必被踐踏；每當它經過時，它必擄掠你們；每天早晨，它必經過，白天與夜間都會如此。只有恐怖的事才能使你們明白這信息。」床鋪太短，伸不直身子；被子太窄，裹不住全身。

我們都像是不潔淨的人，我們的一切公義都像汙穢的衣服；我們都像葉子那樣凋零，我們的罪孽像風那樣把我們吹去。

正如大衛也論到神所算為義之人的福份，這義與行為無關；他說：「罪惡被赦免、罪孽被遮蓋的人，這人是蒙福的。主絕不算為有罪的，這人是蒙福的。」

因為你說『我是富有的；我發了財，什麼都不缺』，卻不知道你是可悲的、可憐的、貧窮的、瞎眼的、赤身的。我建議你向我買被火煉過的金子，使你富足；又買白衣穿上，使你赤身的羞恥不露出來；又買眼藥抹你的眼睛，使你能看見。

因為沒有一個人本於律法上的行為在神面前被稱為義；原來，藉著律法，只能對罪有真正的認識。但如今，神的義已經在律法之外顯明出來，被律法和先知們所見證，那就是：神的義藉著對耶穌基督的信仰，臨到所有信的人，並沒有分別。

那時大地在神面前敗壞了，地上充滿殘暴。

因此，以色列的聖者如此說：「因為你們厭棄了這話，依靠欺壓和邪僻，以它們為依賴；所以這罪孽對你們就像高牆上的破口，牆體凸出，快要倒塌——頃刻之間，崩毀就突然臨到；那崩毀好像陶匠的瓦器被搗毀，被無情地打碎，以致在碎瓦塊中找不到一片可以用來從爐裡取火或從池中舀水。」

看哪！你們一邊禁食，一邊爭競、紛爭、用邪惡的拳頭打人。你們為要自己的聲音在高處蒙垂聽，就不要像今天這樣禁食！

萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家，他所喜歡的樹就是猶大人。他指望公正，看哪，卻有流血！他指望公義，看哪，卻有哀聲！

不，你們在心裡行不義，你們在地上手施殘暴。
