He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so his own arm achieved salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him.

He sees that there is no one who helps his people. He is shocked that no one stands up for them. So he will use his own powerful arm to save them. He has the strength to do it because he is holy.

He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no one to intercede; then his own arm brought him salvation, and his righteousness upheld him.

He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So he himself stepped in to save them with his strong arm, and his justice sustained him.

亚伯拉罕近前来说：“你真要把义人与恶人一同除灭吗？假如那城中有五十个义人，你真的还会除灭它，而不因城中这五十个义人饶恕那地方吗？你绝不会做这样的事：把义人与恶人一同处死，让义人像恶人一样！你绝不会！难道全地的审判者不施行公正吗？”耶和华说：“如果我在所多玛城中找到五十个义人，我就会因他们的缘故饶恕那整个地方。”亚伯拉罕回应说：“看哪，尽管我是尘土和灰烬，也容我斗胆向我主说，假如这五十个义人中缺少五个，难道你会因缺少五个而毁灭全城吗？”耶和华说：“如果我在那里找到四十五个，我也不会毁灭那城。”亚伯拉罕又继续问他说：“假如在那里找到四十个呢？”耶和华就说：“因这四十个的缘故，我也不会这样做。”亚伯拉罕接着说：“请我主不要恼火，容我说，假如在那里找到三十个呢？”耶和华说：“如果我在那里找到三十个，我也不会这样做。”亚伯拉罕又说：“看哪，我再次斗胆向我主说，假如在那里找到二十个呢？”耶和华说：“因这二十个的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”亚伯拉罕再次说：“请我主不要恼火，容我说最后一次，假如在那里找到十个呢？”耶和华说：“因这十个的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”

“我独自踹酒槽，万民中没有一人与我在一起。我在怒气中踹他们，在怒火中踩踏他们；他们的血水溅在我的衣服上，我把全身的衣服都染污了；因为报复之日已在我心中，我的救赎之年已经来到。我观看，竟没有一人帮助；我震惊，竟没有一人扶助；于是我自己的膀臂为我带来了拯救，我自己的怒火扶助了我。

耶和华在万国的眼前，显露他圣洁的膀臂；所有地极都看见我们神的救恩。

所以他说要除灭他们；要不是他所拣选的摩西在他面前站在破口处，使他的怒火转消，他早就毁掉他们了！

然而，当我看的时候，却没有一个；当我问的时候，它们中间也没有一个谋士可以回答。

因为他们的不信，耶稣十分感慨。于是，他就走遍各村庄四处教导人。

为什么我来的时候，没有人在呢？为什么我呼唤的时候，没有人回应呢？难道我的手臂太短不能救赎吗？难道我没有能力解救吗？看哪！我发出斥责，使海洋干涸，使河流成为旷野；其中的鱼因无水而发臭，因干渴而死去。

没有人呼求你的名，没有人奋起去紧抓你；因为你向我们掩面，使我们在自己罪孽的权势下消融。
