我必使其口讚頌我、我賜平康、賜平康於遠者近者、且我將醫之、此乃主所言、

所以，我們要藉著耶穌，常常把頌讚的祭品獻給神，這就是承認他的名的人嘴唇的果子。

這應許原是給你們和你們的兒女，以及所有在遠方的人，就是給凡是我們主神召來歸他的人。”

也要為我祈求，使我傳講的時候，得著當說的話，可以坦然無懼地講明福音的奧祕，

也要為我們禱告，求神為我們開傳道的門，宣講基督的奧祕（我就是為了這個緣故被捆鎖），使我照著我所應當說的，把這奧祕顯明出來。

神藉著耶穌基督（他是萬有的主）傳和平的福音，把這道傳給以色列人。

因為我必賜給你們口才、智慧，是你們所有的敵人不能抵抗，也不能駁倒的。

你們預備好要說的話，歸向耶和華，對他說：“除去我們一切罪孽，悅納我們的禱告。這樣我們就把嘴唇的果子獻上。

他用炭沾我的口，說：“看哪！這炭沾了你的嘴唇，你的罪孽就除掉，你的罪惡就赦免了。”

“在至高之處，榮耀歸與神！在地上，平安歸與他所喜悅的人！”

無論進哪一家，先說：‘願平安歸與這家！’那裡若有配得平安的人（“配得平安的人”原文作“平安之子”），你們的平安就必臨到他，不然，就歸給你們。

基督就是我們的和平：他使雙方合而為一，拆毀了隔在中間的牆，就是以自己的身體除掉雙方的仇恨，並且廢掉了律法的規條，使兩者在他裡面成為一個新人，這樣就締造了和平。基督既然藉著十字架消滅了仇恨，就藉著十字架使雙方與神和好，成為一體，並且他來把和平的福音傳給你們在遠處的人，也給在近處的人。

如果這家是配得的，你們的平安就必臨到他們；如果這家不配得，你們的平安仍歸你們。

他又對他們說：“你們到全世界去，向所有的人傳福音。

因此，我們就是基督的使者，神藉著我們勸告世人。我們代替基督請求你們：跟神和好吧！神使那無罪的替我們成為有罪的，使我們在他裡面成為神的義。

耶和華對他說：“誰造人的口呢？誰使人口啞、耳聾、眼明、眼瞎呢？不是我耶和華嗎？現在去吧，我必賜你口才，指教你當說的。”
