我不會永遠指責，也不會一直發怒，以免世人——我所造的生靈昏倒。

我必不永远相争，也不长久发怒，恐怕我所造的人与灵性都必发昏。

我必不长久控诉，也不永远怀怒，因为我虽使灵性发昏，我也造了人的气息。

我必不长久控诉，也不永远怀怒，因为我虽使灵性发昏，我也造了人的气息。

我不会永远指责，也不会一直发怒，以免世人——我所造的生灵昏倒。

我必不永远争辩，也不长久发怒，因为这样，人的灵，就是我所造的人，在我面前就要发昏。

我必不永远责备，也不长久发怒，否则人的灵——我所造的生命气息，在我面前就会衰竭。

我必不永遠相爭，也不長久發怒，恐怕我所造的人與靈性都必發昏。

我必不長久控訴，也不永遠懷怒，因為我雖使靈性發昏，我也造了人的氣息。

我必不永遠爭辯，也不長久發怒，因為這樣，人的靈，就是我所造的人，在我面前就要發昏。

因為我不永遠爭辯，也不長久震怒；因為人的生氣是由我而出，人的氣息是我造的。

我必不永遠責備，也不長久發怒，否則人的靈——我所造的生命氣息，在我面前就會衰竭。

我不常爭辯、不恆忿怒、恐我所造之人困憊、神性疲弊、

我之責人、不恆蓄怒、恐予所造之人、膽喪氣餒、

我必不永遠斥責、不恆久震怒、恐我所造之人、心神困憊、

I will not accuse them forever, nor will I always be angry, for then they would faint away because of me— the very people I have created.

I will not find fault with my people forever. I will not always be angry with them. If I were, I would cause their spirits to grow weak. The people I created would faint away.

For I will not contend forever, nor will I always be angry; for the spirit would grow faint before me, and the breath of life that I made.

For I will not fight against you forever; I will not always be angry. If I were, all people would pass away— all the souls I have made.

For I will not accuse you forever, and I will not always be angry; for then the spirit would grow weak before me, even the breath, which I have made.

For I will not contend forever, Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would grow faint before Me, And the breath of those whom I have made.

For I will not contend forever, Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would fail before Me, And the souls which I have made.

For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls that I have made.

For I will not accuse you forever, and I will not always be angry; for then the spirit would grow weak before Me, even the breath of man, which I have made.

For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls[ which] I have made.

For I will not be hostile forever or perpetually angry, for then man’s spirit would grow faint before me, the life-giving breath I created.

For I will not contend forever, neither will I always be angry; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls whom I have made.

有何神明像你一樣赦免罪惡，饒恕你倖存子民的過犯？你不會永遠發怒，因為你樂於施恩。

你要向我們永遠發怒嗎？你的怒氣要延續到萬代嗎？

但上帝充滿憐憫，赦免了他們的罪，沒有毀滅他們。祂多次收住怒氣，沒有完全發出祂的烈怒。祂顧念他們不過是血肉之軀，像一陣風轉眼消逝。

再者，我們的生身父親管教我們，我們尚且敬重他們，何況是萬靈之父上帝管教我們，我們豈不更要順服祂並得到生命嗎？

耶和華啊，求你公正地懲罰我，不要帶著怒氣懲罰我，否則我將不復存在。

祂不永久責備人，也不永遠懷怒。祂沒有按我們的過犯對待我們，也沒有照我們的罪惡懲罰我們。因為天離地有多高，祂對敬畏祂之人的愛也多大！東離西有多遠，祂叫我們的過犯離我們也多遠！耶和華憐愛敬畏祂的人，如同慈父憐愛自己的兒女。因為祂知道我們的本源，顧念我們不過是塵土。世人的年日如同草芥，如野地茂盛的花，一經風吹，便無影無蹤，永遠消逝。

摩西和亞倫就伏在地上說：「上帝啊，賜人生命的上帝啊！一人犯罪，你就要向全體會眾發怒嗎？」

創造諸天、鋪展穹蒼、設立大地和地上的一切、賜給世人生命氣息和靈性的耶和華上帝說：

耶和華說：「人既然是血肉之軀，我的靈不會永遠住在人的裡面，然而人還可以活一百二十年。」

於是，他私下向耶利米發誓說：「我憑那賜給我們生命的永活的耶和華起誓，我決不殺你，也不把你交在想殺你的人手中。」

那時塵土必歸於塵土，靈也要歸回賜靈的上帝。

以下是耶和華關於以色列的啟示。鋪展穹蒼、奠立大地的根基、塑造人靈魂的耶和華說：

上帝若決定收回自己的靈和氣，所有生靈將一同滅亡，世人也將歸回塵土。
