The people who do this will be blessed, the people who commit themselves to obedience, who observe the Sabbath and do not defile it, who refrain from doing anything that is wrong.

遵從斯道、固守弗失、守安息日而弗凟、束手而不作惡、則有福祉。

守安息日而不褻瀆、禁己手而不作惡、人如是行、如是持守、即為有福、

Blessed is the one who does this— the person who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps their hands from doing any evil.”

Blessed is the person who does what I want them to. They are faithful in keeping the Sabbath day. They do not misuse it. They do not do what is evil on that day.”

Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath, not profaning it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

Blessed are all those who are careful to do this. Blessed are those who honor my Sabbath days of rest and keep themselves from doing wrong.

Happy is the person who does this, the son of man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.

Blessed is a man who does this, And a son of man who takes hold of it; Who keeps from profaning the Sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

Blessed is the man who does this, And the son of man who lays hold on it; Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth it fast; that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

Happy is the man who does this, anyone who maintains this, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.

Blessed[ is] the man[ that] doeth this, and the son of man[ that] layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

You must observe the Sabbath rather than doing anything you please on my holy day. You must look forward to the Sabbath and treat the LORD’s holy day with respect. You must treat it with respect by refraining from your normal activities, and by refraining from your selfish pursuits and from making business deals.

The LORD says,‘ Be very careful if you value your lives! Do not carry any loads in through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day.Do not carry any loads out of your houses or do any work on the Sabbath day. But observe the Sabbath day as a day set apart to the LORD, as I commanded your ancestors.

Treat my Sabbaths as holy and they will be a reminder of our relationship, and then you will know that I am the LORD your God.”

“ Tell the Israelites,‘ Surely you must keep my Sabbaths, for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.So you must keep the Sabbath, for it is holy for you. Everyone who defiles it must surely be put to death; indeed, if anyone does any work on it, then that person will be cut off from among his people.Six days work may be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, holy to the LORD; anyone who does work on the Sabbath day must surely be put to death.The Israelites must keep the Sabbath by observing the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.

I also gave them my Sabbaths as a reminder of our relationship, so that they would know that I, the LORD, sanctify them.

Praise the LORD! How blessed is the one who obeys the LORD, who takes great delight in keeping his commands.

But he replied,“ Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”

If you understand these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

How blessed is the one who does not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand in the pathway with sinners, or sit in the assembly of scoffers!Instead he finds pleasure in obeying the LORD’s commands; he meditates on his commands day and night.He is like a tree planted by flowing streams; it yields its fruit at the proper time, and its leaves never fall off. He succeeds in everything he attempts.

“ Remember the Sabbath day to set it apart as holy.

LORD, who may be a guest in your home? Who may live on your holy hill?Whoever lives a blameless life, does what is right, and speaks honestly.He does not slander, or do harm to others, or insult his neighbor.He despises a reprobate, but honors the LORD’s loyal followers. He makes firm commitments and does not renege on his promise.He does not charge interest when he lends his money. He does not take bribes to testify against the innocent. The one who lives like this will never be upended.

Through loyal love and truth iniquity is appeased; through fearing the LORD one avoids evil.

Turn away from evil! Do what is right! Then you will enjoy lasting security.

So I registered a complaint with the nobles of Judah, saying to them,“ What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the Sabbath day?

“‘ You must keep my Sabbaths and fear my sanctuary. I am the LORD.

A wise person is cautious and turns from evil, but a fool throws off restraint and is overconfident.

Do not turn to the right or to the left; turn yourself away from evil.

Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can have access to the tree of life and can enter into the city by the gates.

As for foreigners who become followers of the LORD and serve him, who love the name of the LORD and want to be his servants– all who observe the Sabbath and do not defile it, and who are faithful to my covenant–

I stay away from the evil path, so that I might keep your instructions.

How blessed are those whose actions are blameless, who obey the law of the LORD.How blessed are those who observe his rules, and seek him with all their heart,who, moreover, do no wrong, but follow in his footsteps.You demand that your precepts be carefully kept.If only I were predisposed to keep your statutes!

For this is what the LORD says:“ For the eunuchs who observe my Sabbaths and choose what pleases me and are faithful to my covenant,

How blessed are those who promote justice, and do what is right all the time!

Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; protect it, because it is your life.

The highway of the upright is to turn away from evil; the one who guards his way safeguards his life.

but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God; on it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, or your male servant, or your female servant, or your cattle, or the resident foreigner who is in your gates.

How blessed is every one of the LORD’s loyal followers, each one who keeps his commands!

It is best to take hold of one warning without letting go of the other warning; for the one who fears God will follow both warnings.

Turn away from evil and do what is right! Strive for peace and promote it!

Blessed is that slave whom his master finds at work when he returns.

Love must be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil, cling to what is good.
