This is what the LORD says,“ Promote justice! Do what is right! For I am ready to deliver you; I am ready to vindicate you openly.

This is what the Lord says:“ Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.

The Lord says,“ Do what is fair and right. I will soon come and save you. Soon everyone will know that what I do is right.

Thus says the Lord:“ Keep justice, and do righteousness, for soon my salvation will come, and my righteousness be revealed.

This is what the Lord says:“ Be just and fair to all. Do what is right and good, for I am coming soon to rescue you and to display my righteousness among you.

This is what the LORD says: Preserve justice and do what is right, for my salvation is coming soon, and my righteousness will be revealed.

This is what the Lord says:“ Guard justice and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come And My righteousness to be revealed.

Thus says the Lord:“ Keep justice, and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come, And My righteousness to be revealed.

Thus saith Jehovah, Keep ye justice, and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

This is what the Lord says: Preserve justice and do what is right, for My salvation is coming soon, and My righteousness will be revealed.

Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation[ is] near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

Yahweh says,“ Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is near and my righteousness will soon be revealed.

Certainly his loyal followers will soon experience his deliverance; then his splendor will again appear in our land.

And do this because we know the time, that it is already the hour for us to awake from sleep, for our salvation is now nearer than when we became believers.The night has advanced toward dawn; the day is near. So then we must lay aside the works of darkness, and put on the weapons of light.Let us live decently as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in discord and jealousy.Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to arouse its desires.

For the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel from faith to faith, just as it is written,“ The righteous by faith will live.”

“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

Wash! Cleanse yourselves! Remove your sinful deeds from my sight. Stop sinning!Learn to do what is right! Promote justice! Give the oppressed reason to celebrate! Take up the cause of the orphan! Defend the rights of the widow!Come, let’s consider your options,” says the LORD.“ Though your sins have stained you like the color red, you can become white like snow; though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet, you can become white like wool.If you have a willing attitude and obey, then you will again eat the good crops of the land.

But the righteousness that is by faith says:“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down)or“ Who will descend into the abyss?”( that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).But what does it say?“ The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”( that is, the word of faith that we preach),because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.For with the heart one believes and thus has righteousness and with the mouth one confesses and thus has salvation.

I am bringing my deliverance near, it is not far away; I am bringing my salvation near, it does not wait. I will save Zion; I will adorn Israel with my splendor.”

Whoever presents a thank-offering honors me. To whoever obeys my commands, I will reveal my power to deliver.”

I am ready to vindicate, I am ready to deliver, I will establish justice among the nations. The coastlands wait patiently for me; they wait in anticipation for the revelation of my power.

The one whose deeds are blameless and whose motives are pure, who does not lie, or make promises with no intention of keeping them.Such godly people are rewarded by the LORD, and vindicated by the God who delivers them.Such purity characterizes the people who seek his favor, Jacob’s descendants, who pray to him.( Selah)

The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the LORD, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.

He went into all the region around the Jordan River, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet,“ The voice of one shouting in the wilderness:‘ Prepare the way for the Lord, make his paths straight.Every valley will be filled, and every mountain and hill will be brought low, and the crooked will be made straight, and the rough ways will be made smooth,and all humanity will see the salvation of God.’”So John said to the crowds that came out to be baptized by him,“ You offspring of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?Therefore produce fruit that proves your repentance, and don’t begin to say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that God can raise up children for Abraham from these stones!Even now the ax is laid at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”

The way of the righteous is level, the path of the righteous that you make is straight.Yes, as your judgments unfold, O LORD, we wait for you. We desire your fame and reputation to grow.

From that time Jesus began to preach this message:“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

He said,“ The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the gospel!”

If anyone wants to do God’s will, he will know about my teaching, whether it is from God or whether I speak from my own authority.

The LORD God of Israel who rules over all says: Change the way you have been living and do what is right. If you do, I will allow you to continue to live in this land.Stop putting your confidence in the false belief that says,“ We are safe! The temple of the LORD is here! The temple of the LORD is here! The temple of the LORD is here!”You must change the way you have been living and do what is right. You must treat one another fairly.Stop oppressing foreigners who live in your land, children who have lost their fathers, and women who have lost their husbands. Stop killing innocent people in this land. Stop paying allegiance to other gods. That will only bring about your ruin.If you stop doing these things, I will allow you to continue to live in this land which I gave to your ancestors as a lasting possession.“‘ But just look at you! You are putting your confidence in a false belief that will not deliver you.You steal. You murder. You commit adultery. You lie when you swear on oath. You sacrifice to the god Baal. You pay allegiance to other gods whom you have not previously known.Then you come and stand in my presence in this temple I have claimed as my own and say,“ We are safe!” You think you are so safe that you go on doing all those hateful sins!Do you think this temple I have claimed as my own is to be a hideout for robbers? You had better take note! I have seen for myself what you have done! says the LORD.

“ Remember the law of my servant Moses, to whom at Horeb I gave rules and regulations for all Israel to obey.
