“ Indeed, the LORD will call you back like a wife who has been abandoned and suffers from depression, like a young wife when she has been rejected,” says your God.

耶和华召你，如同召回心中忧伤遭遗弃的妇人，就是年轻时所娶被遗弃的妻子；这是你的上帝说的。

耶和华要召你回来，如同召一个遭遗弃、心中忧伤的年轻妻子。这是你的上帝说的。

因为耶和华召唤你，如同召唤被离弃、心灵忧伤的妻子，就是幼年时所娶却被弃绝的妻子；这是你的神说的。

因为耶和华召唤你，像召唤被离弃、灵里忧伤的妻子，就是年轻时所娶又被弃绝的妻子。”这是你的神说的。

因為永恆主召了你，如召被離棄的、心靈憂傷的妻，幼年所娶——而被棄絕（！）的妻：這是你的上帝說的。

因為耶和華召喚你，像召喚被離棄、靈裡憂傷的妻子，就是年輕時所娶又被棄絕的妻子。」這是你的神說的。

耶和華召爾、如召被棄之婦、少時見出而心憂者、爾上帝言之矣、

爾可擬女子、幼時適人、後為夫所棄、愀然以憂、今我耶和華、爾之上帝、召爾旋歸。

主召爾歸、如人召見棄憂心之婦、亦如召幼年娶後被棄之婦、此乃爾天主所言、

The Lord will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit— a wife who married young, only to be rejected,” says your God.

You were like a wife who was deserted. And her heart was broken. You were like a wife who married young. And her husband sent her away. But now I am calling you to come back,” says your God.

For the Lord has called you like a wife deserted and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth when she is cast off, says your God.

For the Lord has called you back from your grief— as though you were a young wife abandoned by her husband,” says your God.

For the LORD has called you, like a wife deserted and wounded in spirit, a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,” says your God.

For the Lord has called you, Like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, Even like a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,” Says your God.

For the Lord has called you Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, Like a youthful wife when you were refused,” Says your God.

For Jehovah hath called thee as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off, saith thy God.

For the Lord has called you, like a wife deserted and wounded in spirit, a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,” says your God.

For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.

For Yahweh has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off,” says your God.

You will no longer be called,“ Abandoned,” and your land will no longer be called“ Desolate.” Indeed, you will be called“ My Delight is in Her,” and your land“ Married.” For the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married to him.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

However, in the future I will allure her; I will lead her back into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.From there I will give back her vineyards to her, and turn the“ Valley of Trouble” into an“ Opportunity for Hope.” There she will sing as she did when she was young, when she came up from the land of Egypt.

Enjoy life with your beloved wife during all the days of your fleeting life that God has given you on earth during all your fleeting days; for that is your reward in life and in your burdensome work on earth.

Yet you ask,“ Why?” The LORD is testifying against you on behalf of the wife you married when you were young, to whom you have become unfaithful even though she is your companion and wife by law.

May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in your young wife–

This is what the LORD says:“ Where is your mother’s divorce certificate by which I divorced her? Or to which of my creditors did I sell you? Look, you were sold because of your sins; because of your rebellious acts I divorced your mother.Why does no one challenge me when I come? Why does no one respond when I call? Is my hand too weak to deliver you? Do I lack the power to rescue you? Look, with a mere shout I can dry up the sea; I can turn streams into a desert, so the fish rot away and die from lack of water.

“ Zion said,‘ The LORD has abandoned me, the sovereign master has forgotten me.’Can a woman forget her baby who nurses at her breast? Can she withhold compassion from the child she has borne? Even if mothers were to forget, I could never forget you!Look, I have inscribed your name on my palms; your walls are constantly before me.Your children hurry back, while those who destroyed and devastated you depart.Look all around you! All of them gather to you. As surely as I live,” says the LORD,“ you will certainly wear all of them like jewelry; you will put them on as if you were a bride.Yes, your land lies in ruins; it is desolate and devastated. But now you will be too small to hold your residents, and those who devoured you will be far away.Yet the children born during your time of bereavement will say within your hearing,‘ This place is too cramped for us, make room for us so we can live here.’Then you will think to yourself,‘ Who bore these children for me? I was bereaved and barren, dismissed and divorced. Who raised these children? Look, I was left all alone; where did these children come from?’”

But God, who encourages the downhearted, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus.

Now I rejoice, not because you were made sad, but because you were made sad to the point of repentance. For you were made sad as God intended, so that you were not harmed in any way by us.For sadness as intended by God produces a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret, but worldly sadness brings about death.

Then you will call your brother,“ My People”( Ammi)! You will call your sister,“ Pity”( Ruhamah)!Plead earnestly with your mother( for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband), so that she might put an end to her adulterous lifestyle, and turn away from her sexually immoral behavior.
