你们要侧耳听，来到我这里；你们要听，就得以存活。我必与你们立永远的约，就是给大卫的信实慈爱的约。

你们要向天举目，要俯视大地；因为诸天必像烟云一样消散，大地必像衣服那样渐渐破旧，其上的居民必如蚊虫死去；但我的救恩必存到永远，我的公义也不衰残。“你们这些认识公义、把我的律法存在心里的子民哪，要听我的话！你们不要害怕人的辱骂，也不要因他们的毁谤而丧胆。

然而，我不会从他身上收回我的慈爱，也不会背弃我的信实。我不会违背我的约，也不会改变我口中所出的话。

愿赐平安的神，就是藉着永恒之约的血，把群羊的大牧人我们的主耶稣从死人中领上来的那一位，在一切美善之事上使你们完备，好遵行他的旨意。愿神藉着耶稣基督，在我们里面行他看为喜悦的事。愿荣耀归于他，直到永永远远！阿们。

不过，主的日子要来临，就像贼来临那样。在那日，诸天要轰然一声地消逝，天体将被火焚烧而废除，地和地上的作为也都将被暴露出来。既然这一切都要如此被废除，那么，你们应该做什么样的人呢？应该行为圣洁、敬畏神，等候并催促神的日子来临。因为在那日，诸天将被焚烧而废除，天体要被火焚烧而熔化。但照着他的应许，我们等候着一个新天新地，有公义居住在那里。

他们既不饥饿也不口渴，炎热和太阳也不会伤害他们，因为那怜悯他们的必引领他们，带领他们到水泉旁边。
