彼遭難時、人審判之、不秉公義、為民罪戾、而受譴責、生命且滅於世、遑計其後乎。

彼遭困苦、被審鞫、枉屈喪命、或作彼因受苦難刑罰而被取與之同世者、誰料彼受折磨、絕離活人之地、乃因我民之罪愆乎、

By oppression and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished.

因為基督也曾一次為了贖罪而受苦，就是義的代替不義的，為要把你們帶到神的面前。照著肉身說，基督固然被處死了；但照著靈說，他卻得以復活了。

他在屈辱中，公義被奪走了，誰能述說他的世代呢？因為他的生命從地上被奪走了。」

那六十二個『七』之後，受膏者必被剪除，他將一無所有。將要來一位領袖，他的民眾必毀滅這城和聖所，其結局必伴隨著洪流，必有戰爭直到末了；荒涼的事已經被註定了。

許多公牛圍繞我，巴珊的壯牛圍困我。他們向我張大了口，如同撕抓吼叫的獅子。我像水一樣被傾倒，我全身的骨頭都脫節了；我的心像蠟那樣，在我裡面融化。我的力量如同瓦片一樣枯乾，我的舌頭緊貼在上顎；你把我放在死亡的塵土中。群狗圍繞我，一夥惡黨包圍我，他們刺穿我的雙手、我的雙腳；我能數算我全身的骨頭；他們又瞪著眼看我。他們彼此瓜分我的衣服，又為我的衣裳抽籤。可是你，耶和華啊，求你不要遠離我！我的力量啊，求你快來幫助我！求你解救我的性命脫離刀劍，從狗爪中救我寶貴的生命；求你拯救我脫離獅子的口，脫離野牛的犄角。你已經應允了我。

大祭司就撕裂自己的衣服，說：「他說了褻瀆的話！難道我們還需要什麼見證人嗎？看，現在你們都聽見了這褻瀆的話。你們怎麼看？」他們回答說：「他是該死的！」

其中有一個人叫該亞法，是當年的大祭司，對他們說：「你們什麼都不懂！也不想一想，一個人替民眾死，免得全民族滅亡，這對你們是有益處的。」他說這話不是出於自己，只因他是當年的大祭司，就預言了耶穌要替全民族而死；而且不僅是替猶太民族死，也是要把神的那些四散的兒女都召集合一。

因此，我必使他在偉人中分得一份，他必與強者同分戰利品，因為他澆奠了自己的性命，以至於死。他被列在罪人當中，卻擔當了眾人的罪，又為罪人代求。」

其實他是為我們的過犯被刺透，為我們的罪孽被壓傷。因他受的懲罰，我們得平安；因他受的鞭傷，我們得痊癒。
