现在这情形对我有什么意义！”这是耶和华的宣告。“我的子民被人无偿地带走；管辖他们的人在号叫；我的名终日不断地被藐视。”这是耶和华的宣告。

今我民無因見虜、強暴之人、恆凟我名、譁然不靖、我將何以處之。

主曰、今我民無故被擄、轄之者、喜樂陶陶、我名終日恆被褻瀆、我在此徒處何為、

“ And now what do I have here?” declares the Lord.“ For my people have been taken away for nothing, and those who rule them mock,” declares the Lord.“ And all day long my name is constantly blasphemed.

“ Now look at what has happened to them,” announces the Lord.“ Once again my people have been taken away. And no one paid anything for them. Those who rule over them brag about it,” announces the Lord.“ All day long without stopping, people speak evil things against my name.

Now therefore what have I here,” declares the Lord,“ seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Their rulers wail,” declares the Lord,“ and continually all the day my name is despised.

What is this?” asks the Lord.“ Why are my people enslaved again? Those who rule them shout in exultation. My name is blasphemed all day long.

So now what have I here”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ that my people are taken away for nothing? Its rulers wail”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and my name is continually blasphemed all day long.

And now, what do I have here,” declares the Lord,“ seeing that My people have been taken away without reason?” Again the Lord declares,“ Those who rule over them howl, and My name is continually reviled all day long.

Now therefore, what have I here,” says the Lord,“ That My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them Make them wail,” says the Lord,“ And My name is blasphemed continually every day.

Now therefore, what do I here, saith Jehovah, seeing that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them do howl, saith Jehovah, and my name continually all the day is blasphemed.

So now what have I here”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ that My people are taken away for nothing? Its rulers wail”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ and My name is continually blasphemed all day long.

As it is written:“ God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.” (niv)

But for the sake of my name, I brought them out of Egypt. I did it to keep my name from being profaned in the eyes of the nations among whom they lived and in whose sight I had revealed myself to the Israelites. (niv)

And wherever they went among the nations they profaned my holy name, for it was said of them,‘ These are the Lord’s people, and yet they had to leave his land.’I had concern for my holy name, which the people of Israel profaned among the nations where they had gone.“ Therefore say to the Israelites,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone.I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes. (niv)

But for the sake of my name I did what would keep it from being profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out. (niv)

at the taunts of those who reproach and revile me, because of the enemy, who is bent on revenge. (niv)

I will put it into the hands of your tormentors, who said to you,‘ Fall prostrate that we may walk on you.’ And you made your back like the ground, like a street to be walked on.” (niv)

During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God.God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. (niv)

I was angry with my people and desecrated my inheritance; I gave them into your hand, and you showed them no mercy. Even on the aged you laid a very heavy yoke. (niv)

By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept when we remembered Zion.There on the poplars we hung our harps, (niv)

“ People have heard my groaning, but there is no one to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my distress; they rejoice at what you have done. May you bring the day you have announced so they may become like me. (niv)

How long will the enemy mock you, God? Will the foe revile your name forever? (niv)

In fierce anger he has cut off every horn of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it. (niv)

“ Israel is a scattered flock that lions have chased away. The first to devour them was the king of Assyria; the last to crush their bones was Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.” (niv)

“ On that day,” declares the Lord,“ a cry will go up from the Fish Gate, wailing from the New Quarter, and a loud crash from the hills. (niv)

Young men toil at the millstones; boys stagger under loads of wood.The elders are gone from the city gate; the young men have stopped their music.Joy is gone from our hearts; our dancing has turned to mourning. (niv)

For this is what the Lord says:“ You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed.” (niv)

“ But I know where you are and when you come and go and how you rage against me. (niv)

Remember how the enemy has mocked you, Lord, how foolish people have reviled your name. (niv)

You sold your people for a pittance, gaining nothing from their sale. (niv)

and worked them ruthlessly.They made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their harsh labor the Egyptians worked them ruthlessly.The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah,“ When you are helping the Hebrew women during childbirth on the delivery stool, if you see that the baby is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live.” (niv)

When they were near Micah’s house, they recognized the voice of the young Levite; so they turned in there and asked him,“ Who brought you here? What are you doing in this place? Why are you here?” (niv)

What are you doing here and who gave you permission to cut out a grave for yourself here, hewing your grave on the height and chiseling your resting place in the rock? (niv)

The Lord said,“ I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. (niv)
