惟爾敵人、素使爾曲躬俯伏、俟其踰越而行、若遨遊於通衢、我必使彼飲焉。

必授於虐遇爾者之手、彼曾謂爾曰、爾屈伏爾躬、任我儕由其上踰越而行、遂使爾背若塵土、若通衢、任人往來、

Instead, I will give it to those who made you suffer. They said to you,‘ Fall down flat on the ground. Then we can walk all over you.’ And that is exactly what you did. You made your back like a street to be walked on.”

Instead, I will hand that cup to your tormentors, those who said,‘ We will trample you into the dust and walk on your backs.’”

「看啊，我要使耶路撒冷成為令周圍萬民昏醉的酒杯。耶路撒冷被圍困時，猶大也必受困。

約書亞召來全體以色列人，然後對那些跟他一起出征的將領說：「你們上前來，用腳踏在這些王的頸上。」各將領便照著約書亞的吩咐做了。

我又見她醉了，因她喝了眾聖徒的血，就是為耶穌做見證之人的血。我看見她，非常驚奇。天使對我說：「你為什麼這樣驚奇呢？我要將這婦人和她騎的七頭十角怪獸的奧祕告訴你。你看見的這怪獸以前出現過，現今沒有出現，將來要從無底坑上來，然後走向滅亡。那些住在地上、自創世以來名字沒有記在生命冊上的人，都因見到這只從前出現過、現今沒有出現、將來會再出現的怪獸而感到驚奇。

牠又強迫所有的人，不論老少、尊卑、貧富、自由人或奴隸，都在右手或額上接受印記。凡沒有蓋上怪獸印記的，就是沒有怪獸的名字或代號的，都不能做買賣。

以色列的上帝耶和華對我說：「你從我手中接過這盛滿我烈怒的酒杯，到我差遣你去的國家給他們喝。他們喝了這杯烈怒後必東倒西歪、行為瘋狂，因為我要使戰禍臨到他們。」於是，我從耶和華手中接過杯，奉祂的差遣到列國去給他們喝。我給耶路撒冷和猶大的城邑，以及猶大的君王和官員喝這杯烈怒，使他們的城邑淪為廢墟，令人驚懼，被嘲笑和咒詛，正如今日一樣。喝這杯烈怒的還有埃及王法老及其王公大臣和全體百姓，他們當中所有的外族人，烏斯的眾王和統治亞實基倫、迦薩、以革倫以及亞實突餘民的非利士眾王，以東、摩押和亞捫人，泰爾的眾王、西頓的眾王和海島上的眾王，底但、提瑪、布斯和所有剃鬢髮的人，阿拉伯的眾王和荒野各族的諸王，心利的眾王、以攔的眾王和瑪代的眾王，北方諸王——無論遠近、一個接一個，以及天下萬國，最後是巴比倫王。耶和華對我說：「你要告訴他們，以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說，『你們要喝這杯烈怒，喝得大醉、嘔吐、倒地不起，因為我要使戰爭臨到你們。』如果他們不肯從你手中接過杯來喝，你就告訴他們，萬軍之耶和華說，『你們必須喝！看啊，我已在屬我的城中降下災禍，難道你們可以逃脫懲罰嗎？你們必逃不過懲罰，因為我要使戰爭臨到天下萬民。』這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

但耶和華說：「勇士擄去的必被奪回，暴君搶去的必被救出。我必與你的敵人爭戰，拯救你的兒女。我要使那些欺壓你的人吞吃自己的肉，喝自己的血喝得酩酊大醉，好像喝酒一樣。那時候，世人都必知道我耶和華是你的救主，是你的救贖主，是雅各的大能者。」

你不用量聖殿的外院，因為這部分已經給了外族人，他們要踐踏聖城四十二個月。

你看見的那婦人就是那掌管世上眾王的大城。」

惡人作義人的贖價，奸徒替正直人受苦。
