And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where[ is] the fury of the oppressor?

你忘记了造你的耶和华，就是那展开诸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺压者准备行毁灭的时候所发的烈怒，你就终日不住惧怕呢？其实那欺压者的烈怒在哪里呢？

竟忘记了那造你的耶和华，就是展开诸天、奠定大地根基的那一位；竟终日不断地惧怕，就是惧怕压迫者预备行毁灭时的怒火！其实那压迫者的怒火在哪里呢？

你忘記了造你的耶和華，就是那展開諸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺壓者準備行毀滅的時候所發的烈怒，你就終日不住懼怕呢？其實那欺壓者的烈怒在哪裡呢？

你竟忘了那造了你、的永恆主，那展開諸天，奠定了大地的，而那窘迫人者準備要行毁滅時、你就終日懼怕他的烈怒呀！其實那窘迫人者的烈怒在哪裏呢？

竟忘記了那造你的耶和華，就是展開諸天、奠定大地根基的那一位；竟終日不斷地懼怕，就是懼怕壓迫者預備行毀滅時的怒火！其實那壓迫者的怒火在哪裡呢？

而忘展布諸天、奠定地基、肇造爾之耶和華、終日因強暴者之怒而懼、以其圖滅爾、其怒安在、

我耶和華肇造爾邦、張舒穹蒼、奠定寰宇、爾何為忘予、恆畏強暴之人、恐其烈怒、滅爾邦家、然彼怒雖烈、焉能有為。

乃忘張天奠地造爾之主、強暴之人、預備殺戮之時、爾終日戰慄、畏其烈怒、究之強暴人之烈怒、果安在乎、

that you forget the Lord your Maker, who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor?

How can you forget me? I made you. I stretch out the heavens. I lay the foundations of the earth. Why are you terrified every day? Is it because those who are angry with you are crushing you? Is it because they are trying to destroy you? Their anger can’t harm you anymore.

and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and you fear continually all the day because of the wrath of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the wrath of the oppressor?

Yet you have forgotten the Lord, your Creator, the one who stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. Will you remain in constant dread of human oppressors? Will you continue to fear the anger of your enemies? Where is their fury and anger now? It is gone!

But you have forgotten the LORD, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You are in constant dread all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, who has set himself to destroy. But where is the fury of the oppressor?

That you have forgotten the Lord your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth, That you fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, As he makes ready to destroy? And where is the rage of the oppressor?

And you forget the Lord your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth; You have feared continually every day Because of the fury of the oppressor, When he has prepared to destroy. And where is the fury of the oppressor?

and hast forgotten Jehovah thy Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fearest continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he maketh ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

But you have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You are in constant dread all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, who has set himself to destroy. But where is the fury of the oppressor?

Why do you forget the LORD, who made you, who stretched out the sky and founded the earth? Why do you constantly tremble all day long at the anger of the oppressor, when he makes plans to destroy? Where is the anger of the oppressor?

Have you forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Do you live in fear continually all day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepares to destroy? Where is the fury of the oppressor?

[ It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof[ are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Who coverest[ thyself] with light as[ with] a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I,[ even] my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens:[ when] I call unto them, they stand up together.

Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.

Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God,[ even] thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid[ it] to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?

Hast thou with him spread out the sky,[ which is] strong,[ and] as a molten looking glass?

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made;[ well]: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who[ is] that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping[ for] her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.

Where[ is] the wise? where[ is] the scribe? where[ is] the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

Can a maid forget her ornaments,[ or] a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.

Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

Of the Rock[ that] begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I[ am] the LORD that maketh all[ things]; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego:[ therefore] he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.

And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.And they said unto Moses, Because[ there were] no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?[ Is] not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For[ it had been] better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling[ shall be] with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’[ feathers], and his nails like birds’[ claws].

They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee,[ and] consider thee,[ saying, Is] this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;[ That] made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof;[ that] opened not the house of his prisoners?

O death, where[ is] thy sting? O grave, where[ is] thy victory?

Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where[ is] the scribe? where[ is] the receiver? where[ is] he that counted the towers?Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue,[ that thou canst] not understand.

That the triumphing of the wicked[ is] short, and the joy of the hypocrite[ but] for a moment?Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;[ Yet] he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where[ is] he?He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.The eye also[ which] saw him shall[ see him] no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.

They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled.Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth.Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee.As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand[ against] the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature[ shall be] hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.

Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they[ were] all dead corpses.So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth,[ even] they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens[ are] the work of thy hands.They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

And truly, if they had been mindful of that[ country] from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.

And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.
