主耶和華助我、故我不致羞赧、我堅厥顏、有如堅石、自知不至愧怍也、

主耶和華祐我、我顏堅比鐵石、不愧不怍、可以自信。

主天主必祐助我、故我不羞慚、以為我之面堅如鐵石、且知我必不至愧恥、

Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.

The Lord and King helps me. He won’t let me be dishonored. So I’ve made up my mind to keep on serving him. I know he won’t let me be put to shame.

But the Lord God helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.

The Lord GOD will help me; therefore I have not been humiliated; therefore I have set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.

But the sovereign LORD helps me, so I am not humiliated. For that reason I am steadfastly resolved; I know I will not be put to shame.

For the Lord Yahweh will help me. Therefore I have not been confounded. Therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I won’t be disappointed.

Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads.Like adamant stone, harder than flint, I have made your forehead; do not be afraid of them, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.”

“ Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

So we may boldly say:“ The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

With whom My hand shall be established; Also My arm shall strengthen him.The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.I will beat down his foes before his face, And plague those who hate him.“ But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, And in My name his horn shall be exalted.Also I will set his hand over the sea, And his right hand over the rivers.He shall cry to Me,‘ You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.’Also I will make him My firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth.

Thus says the Lord:“ In an acceptable time I have heard You, And in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You As a covenant to the people, To restore the earth, To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages;

Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem,

Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

Surely the Lord GOD will help Me; Who is he who will condemn Me? Indeed they will all grow old like a garment; The moth will eat them up.

For behold, I have made you this day A fortified city and an iron pillar, And bronze walls against the whole land— Against the kings of Judah, Against its princes, Against its priests, And against the people of the land.

The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

“ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.

Then the Lord said to him,“ Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is full of greed and wickedness.Foolish ones! Did not He who made the outside make the inside also?But rather give alms of such things as you have; then indeed all things are clean to you.“ But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass by justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seats in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces.Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like graves which are not seen, and the men who walk over them are not aware of them.”Then one of the lawyers answered and said to Him,“ Teacher, by saying these things You reproach us also.”And He said,“ Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.In fact, you bear witness that you approve the deeds of your fathers; for they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs.Therefore the wisdom of God also said,‘ I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,’that the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation,from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah who perished between the altar and the temple. Yes, I say to you, it shall be required of this generation.“ Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.”And as He said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to assail Him vehemently, and to cross-examine Him about many things,lying in wait for Him, and seeking to catch Him in something He might say, that they might accuse Him.
