那些不斷建房置田、佔光土地、獨居其中的人有禍了！

那些使房屋连接房屋，使田地连接田地，以致不留余地的人，有祸了！你们只可以独居在境内。

祸哉！你们这样的人！你们使房屋连着房屋，田地接着田地，以致没有多余的空间，好独自居住在那地当中。

禍哉！那些以房接房，以地連地，以致不留餘地的，只顧自己獨居境內。

禍哉！你們以房接房，以地連地，以致不留餘地，只顧自己獨居境內。

那些使房屋連接房屋，使田地連接田地，以致不留餘地的人，有禍了！你們只可以獨居在境內。

禍哉！你們這樣的人！你們使房屋連著房屋，田地接著田地，以致沒有多餘的空間，好獨自居住在那地當中。

增其第宅、廣其田疇、致無隙地、獨居於中、禍哉其人、

強據宅第、多得土田、不遺隙地、推其意、幾欲獨攬遍境、深可疾也、

禍哉、爾曹增室於室、增田於田、以致不遺隙地、爾欲獨居斯地乎、

Woe to you who add house to house and join field to field till no space is left and you live alone in the land.

How terrible it will be for you who get too many houses! How terrible for you who get too many fields! Finally there won’t be any space left in the land. Then you will live all alone.

Woe to those who join house to house, who add field to field, until there is no more room, and you are made to dwell alone in the midst of the land.

What sorrow for you who buy up house after house and field after field, until everyone is evicted and you live alone in the land.

Woe to those who attach house to house and join field to field, Until there is no more room, And you alone are a landowner in the midst of the land!

「為自己的家積蓄不義之財、在高處搭窩躲避災禍的人啊，你們有禍了！你們陰謀毀滅各族，以致自辱己家，自害己命。牆上的石頭必高聲指控你們，房子的梁木必同聲回應。「以人血建城邑，以罪惡造城池的人啊，你們有禍了！

耶和華說：「約西亞的兒子猶大王約雅敬啊，你有禍了！你以不公不義的手段建造宮廷殿宇，不給工人發工錢。你說要為自己建造宏偉的宮殿、寬敞的房間。你安上窗戶，鑲上香柏木，塗上紅漆。難道你大肆使用香柏木就能顯出你做王的氣派嗎？你父親也吃也喝，但他秉公行義，所以他凡事順利；他為困苦和貧窮的人伸冤，所以他凡事順利。這才是真正認識我。這是耶和華說的。可是，你一心貪圖不義之財，濫殺無辜，橫徵暴斂。」

亞哈聽說拿伯死了，就起來，下去霸佔拿伯的葡萄園。耶和華對提斯比人以利亞說：「你去撒瑪利亞見以色列王亞哈，他正在拿伯的葡萄園，他到那裡要霸佔那葡萄園。你要對他說，『耶和華說，你殺了人，還要奪他的產業嗎？』然後告訴他，耶和華說，『狗在哪裡舔拿伯的血，也必在哪裡舔你的血。』」亞哈見了以利亞，說：「我的對頭啊，你又來了！」以利亞說：「我又來了，因為你一心做耶和華視為惡的事。

耶穌又講了一個比喻，說：「有一個富翁，他的田裡大豐收，於是心裡盤算，『我儲藏農產的地方不夠了，怎麼辦呢？』於是他說，『不如把原有的倉庫拆掉，建幾座更大的，好儲藏我所有的糧食和財物！那時，我就可以對自己說，「你積存這麼多財產，一生享用不盡，現在大可高枕無憂、盡情地吃喝玩樂吧！」』但上帝對他說，『無知的人啊！今晚就要取走你的命！你所預備的一切留給誰享用呢？』」耶穌說：「這就是那些只顧為自己積財、在上帝面前卻不富足之人的寫照。」耶穌繼續對門徒說：「所以，我告訴你們，不要為生活憂慮，如吃什麼，也不要為身體憂慮，如穿什麼。因為生命比飲食重要，身體比穿著重要。你們看，烏鴉不種也不收，沒倉也沒庫，上帝尚且養活牠們，你們比飛鳥不知要貴重多少！

「人子啊，留在耶路撒冷的居民會這樣談論你、你的親人和一切被擄的以色列人，說，『他們遠離了耶和華，這地方已經給了我們。』

「人子啊，那些住在以色列廢墟中的人說，『亞伯拉罕一人尚且能擁有這片土地，我們這麼多人更能擁有這片土地為業。』

「虛偽的律法教師和法利賽人啊，你們有禍了！因為你們當著人們的面關閉天國之門，自己不進去，也不讓別人進去。
