定惡人為義、定義人為惡的、二者都是永恆主所厭惡。

這一點你要知道：在末後的日子、必有艱苦的時期要來到。因為人必逕愛自己、愛銀錢、矜誇、狂傲、毁謗、悖逆父母、忘恩負義、不虔聖、無親情、不解怨、好說讒言、不能節制、蠻橫兇暴、不愛良善、出賣師友、鹵莽妄為、蒙於傲氣、愛宴樂而不愛上帝，有敬虔的形式，卻背棄了敬虔的實質；這種人、你要躲開。

耶穌對他們說：『你們在人面前自以為義，上帝卻知道你們的心：因為在人中間高貴的、在上帝面前卻是可憎。

你們用你們的話使永恆主厭倦了；你們還說：『我們在甚麼事情上使他厭倦呢？』那就是因為你們說：『凡行壞事的、在永恆主看來都是善，他並且喜愛他們。』或是說：『公義的上帝在哪裏呢？』

『眼睛是身體的燈。你眼睛若大量，你全身就光明；你眼睛若小器，你全身就黑暗。所以那在你裏面的光若黑暗了，那黑暗是何等大呢。

你的眼睛是身體的燈；你眼睛大量時，你全身就光明；一小器時，你身體就黑暗了。所以察看吧，看你裏面的光是不是黑暗了。

人們將黑夜變為白晝，說：亮光幾乎等於黑暗。

那些使公平變為苦堇，將公義摔落於地的，

但從前在民間竟有了假的神言人呢；照樣子、在你們中間也必有假的教師。這種人必私下引進使人滅亡的派別來，連買他們的主、他們也否認，自己引着迅速快到的滅亡。

他們發出虛妄之膨脹言論，用肉體的私慾和邪蕩餌誘那些僅僅能逃脫在謬妄中過生活者的人。應許他們自由，而自己卻是敗壞之奴僕。因為人被甚麼制勝，就給甚麼做奴僕。

耶穌回答他們說：『你們呢、你們為甚麼因了你們的傳統規矩而違犯上帝的誡命呢？上帝命令說：「要孝敬父親和母親」；又說：『誹謗父親或母親的，必須死』；你們倒說：『無論何人對父親或母親說：「你可由我得益之物、已經用做獻神禮物了」；這麼一說，他便可以不必敬奉父親或母親！那就是你們竟因了你們的傳統規矩而取消上帝的話了！

『瞎眼的領路人哪，你們有禍啊！你們說：「凡指着殿堂起誓的，那算不了甚麼；惟獨指着殿堂裏的金子起誓的，就必須負責任。」傻子瞎子啊，甚麼是較大的？是金子呢？還是那使金子成聖別的殿堂呢？你們又說：「凡指着壇起誓的，那算不了甚麼；惟獨指着壇上的禮物起誓的，就必須負責任。」瞎眼的人哪，甚麼是較大的？是禮物呢？還是那使禮物成聖別的壇呢？所以凡指着壇起誓的，就是指着壇和壇上的一切東西來起誓；凡指着殿堂起誓的，就是指着殿堂和那住殿堂的來起誓；凡指着天起誓的，就是指着上帝的寶座和那坐在寶座上的來起誓。『經學士和法利賽人、假冒為善的人哪，你們有禍啊！因為你們將薄荷、茴香、芹菜、獻上十分之一，而律法上較有重量的事，如正義憐憫和信實、你們卻遺棄了。其實呢，前者那些雖不可遺棄，後者這些卻必須行。

如今我們呢、竟稱傲慢人為有福了！而行惡的人居然得建立了！他們雖試探上帝，卻還得逃脫、免受災難呢！」』
