How terrible it will be for those who say that what is evil is good! How terrible for those who say that what is good is evil! How terrible for those who say that darkness is light and light is darkness! How terrible for those who say that what is bitter is sweet and what is sweet is bitter!

宣判惡人為義，裁定義人有罪，二者都是耶和華所厭惡的。

你應當知道，末後的日子必有艱難的時期來到。那時，人會專愛自己、貪愛錢財、自誇、高傲、褻瀆、悖逆父母、忘恩負義、不聖潔、沒有親情、不肯和解、惡言中傷、不能自律、橫蠻兇暴、不愛良善、賣主賣友、容易衝動、傲慢自大、愛享樂過於愛神，有敬虔的形式，卻否定敬虔的能力；這些人你應當避開。

耶穌對他們說：“你們在人面前自稱為義，神卻知道你們的心；因為人所高舉的，神卻看作是可憎惡的。

你們用自己的言語使耶和華厭煩，你們還說：“我們怎樣使他厭煩呢？”因為你們說：“作惡的，耶和華都看為善，並且喜悅他們。”或說：“公義的神在哪裡呢？”

“眼睛就是身體的燈。如果你的眼睛健全，全身就都明亮；如果你的眼睛有毛病，全身就都黑暗。如果你裡面的光變成黑暗，這是多麼的黑暗！

你的眼睛就是你身體的燈，你的眼睛健全，全身就明亮；如果不健全，全身就黑暗。所以要謹慎，免得你裡面的光黑暗了。

他們把黑夜變為白晝，因為黑暗的緣故，他們就說：‘光明臨近了。’

他們使公正變為苦堇，把公義棄於地上。

從前在人民中，曾有假先知出來；照樣，將來在你們中間，也必有假教師出現。他們偷偷把使人滅亡的異端引進來，甚至否認那曾經買贖他們的主，迅速地自取滅亡。

因為他們說虛妄誇大的話，用肉體的私慾和邪蕩的事，引誘那些剛剛逃脫了錯謬生活的人。他們應許給人自由，自己卻作了敗壞的奴僕；因為人給誰制伏了，就作誰的奴僕。

耶穌回答：“你們又為甚麼因你們的傳統，違背神的誡命呢？神說：‘當孝敬父母’，又說：‘咒罵父母的必被處死’。你們卻說：‘人若對父母說：“我應該給你們的，已經作了獻給神的禮物”，他就可以不孝敬父母了。’你們因為你們的傳統，就廢棄了神的話。

“你們這些瞎眼的嚮導有禍了！你們說：‘凡指著聖所而起的誓，是沒有用的；但指著聖所的金子而起的誓，就必須遵守。’你們這些瞎眼的愚昧人哪，到底是金子大，還是使金子成聖的聖所大呢？你們又說：‘凡指著祭壇所起的誓，是沒有用的；但指著壇上的祭物所起的誓，就必須遵守。’瞎眼的人哪！到底是祭物大，還是使祭物成聖的祭壇大呢？所以，凡指著祭壇起誓的，他就是指著祭壇和壇上的一切起誓；指著聖所起誓的，就是指著聖所和住在那裡的神起誓；指著天起誓的，就是指著神的寶座和坐在寶座上的起誓。“虛偽的經學家和法利賽人哪，你們有禍了！你們把薄荷、茴香、芹菜，獻上十分之一，卻忽略律法上更重要的，就如正義、憐憫和信實；這些更重要的是你們應當作的，但其他的也不可忽略。

現在我們稱驕傲的人為有福，作惡的人得建立；他們雖然試探神，卻得以逃脫。’”
