放过罪人、冤枉义人，都为耶和华所憎恶。

你要知道，末世必有艰难的日子，因为那时的人都自私自利、贪爱钱财、狂妄自夸、骄傲自负、说毁谤话、违背父母、忘恩负义、心不圣洁、冷漠无情、不愿和解、好说谗言、毫无节制、蛮横凶暴、不爱良善、出卖朋友、任意妄为、自高自大、沉溺享乐、不爱上帝，虚有敬虔的外表，却无敬虔的实质。你要避开这样的人。

耶稣对他们说：“你们在人面前自以为义，但上帝能看透你们的心。因为世人所看重的东西在上帝看来却是可憎的。

你们说的话使耶和华厌烦，然而，你们还说：“我们在何事上令祂厌烦呢？”因为你们说：“耶和华将所有作恶者视为好人，并且喜悦他们”，还说：“公义的上帝在哪里？”

“眼睛是身上的灯。如果你的眼睛明亮，全身都光明；要是你的眼睛昏花，全身就黑暗。如果你里面的光黑暗了，那黑暗是多么大啊！

你的眼睛就是身体的灯，你的眼睛明亮，全身就光明；你的眼睛昏花，全身就黑暗。因此要小心，不要让你心里的光变为黑暗。

他们说黑夜是白昼，声称黑暗就是光明。

你们这些使正义变为苦艾、将公义丢弃在地的人啊，

以往曾经有假先知在百姓中出现，将来在你们中间也同样会有假教师出现。他们暗地里引进使人沉沦的异端邪说，甚至否认那位买赎他们的主。这些人正迅速地自招灭亡。

他们口出狂言，空话连篇，以肉体的邪情私欲为饵，诱惑那些刚刚摆脱了荒谬生活的人。他们应许那些人可以得自由，而自己却做罪恶的奴隶，因为人被什么制服，就被什么奴役。

耶稣回答说：“为什么你们拘守传统而违背上帝的诫命呢？上帝说，‘要孝敬父母’，又说，‘咒骂父母的，必被处死。’你们却说，‘人如果把供养父母的钱奉献给上帝，他就不必供养父母。’你们这是用传统来废掉上帝的诫命。

“瞎眼的向导啊，你们有祸了！你们说，‘指着圣殿发誓，不算数；但是指着圣殿里的金子发誓，就要遵守誓言。’无知的瞎子啊！金子重要呢？还是使金子神圣的圣殿重要呢？你们又说，‘指着祭坛发誓不算数，但是指着坛上的供物发誓，就要遵守誓言。’瞎眼的人啊！供物重要呢？还是使供物神圣的祭坛重要呢？其实指着祭坛发誓，就是指着祭坛和坛上的一切东西发誓。指着圣殿发誓，就是指着圣殿和住在里面的上帝发誓。指着天发誓，就是指着上帝的宝座和坐在宝座上的那位发誓。“虚伪的律法教师和法利赛人啊，你们有祸了！你们把薄荷、茴香、芹菜献上十分之一，却忽略了律法中更重要的事——公正、怜悯、信实。后者是你们本该做的，前者也不可忽略。

如今我们称狂傲的人有福，因为作恶的人凡事顺利，他们虽然试探上帝，却仍能逃过灾祸。’”
