to those who say,“ Let God hurry; let him hasten his work so we may see it. The plan of the Holy One of Israel— let it approach, let it come into view, so we may know it.”

How terrible for those who say,“ Let God hurry up and do what he says he will. We want to see it happen. Let us see the plan of the Holy One of Israel. We want to know what it is.”

who say:“ Let him be quick, let him speed his work that we may see it; let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near, and let it come, that we may know it!”

They even mock God and say,“ Hurry up and do something! We want to see what you can do. Let the Holy One of Israel carry out his plan, for we want to know what it is.”

Who say,“ Let Him hurry, let Him do His work quickly, so that we may see it; And let the plan of the Holy One of Israel approach And come to pass, so that we may know it!”

“人子啊，你们以色列有一句俗语，‘光阴流逝，异象都落空。’

你们不可再说有耶和华的启示，因为你们把自己的话当成祂的启示，曲解你们永活的上帝——万军之耶和华的话。

人们常讥讽我说：“耶和华说的那些事在哪里？怎么还没有实现呢？”

“人子啊，你看，以色列人在说，‘他见的异象是关乎多年后的事，他说的预言是针对遥远的未来。’

“然而，他们谁曾站在耶和华面前看见并听见祂说话呢？他们谁曾留心听祂的话呢？

让开！不要挡我们的路！不要再给我们讲以色列圣者的事。’

对耶和华的话心存敬畏的人啊，要听祂的话：“你们的弟兄憎恨你们，因为我的缘故而弃绝你们，他们讥讽说，‘愿耶和华得荣耀，我们好看看你们的欢乐！’他们必受羞辱。

盼望耶和华的日子到来的人有祸了！你们为什么盼望耶和华的日子呢？那日将带来黑暗，而非光明。你们的光景将好像人逃避狮子，却遇上了熊，逃回家里，手扶墙壁，又被蛇咬。

“他们撒谎说，‘耶和华不会管我们，我们必不会遇到灾祸、战争和饥荒。先知的话不过是一阵风，不是来自上帝，他们预言的灾祸必降临到自己身上。’”

最重要的是，你们要知道在末世的时候必出现喜欢冷嘲热讽、为所欲为的人。他们说：“主要降临的应许在哪里？从我们的祖先长眠地下直到现在，万物依旧与创世之初一样。”
