Indeed, this is what the Lord says:“ Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, And the prey of a tyrant will be rescued; For I will contend with the one who contends with you, And I will save your sons.

但耶和华如此说：“就是勇士所掳掠的，也可以夺回；强暴人所抢的，也可以解救。与你相争的，我必与他相争；我要拯救你的儿女。

但耶和华说：“勇士掳去的必被夺回，暴君抢去的必被救出。我必与你的敌人争战，拯救你的儿女。

但耶和华这样说：“就是勇士所俘掳的，也可以夺回，强暴者所抢去的，也可以救出来；与你相争的，我必与他们相争；你的儿女，我却要拯救。

然而耶和华如此说：“就算是勇士的俘虏，也必被夺回；强横者的掳物，也必被救出。与你争斗的，我必亲自与他争斗；至于你的儿女，我必亲自拯救。

但耶和華如此說：就是勇士所擄掠的，也可以奪回；強暴人所搶的，也可以解救。與你相爭的，我必與他相爭；我要拯救你的兒女。

但耶和華說：「勇士擄去的必被奪回，暴君搶去的必被救出。我必與你的敵人爭戰，拯救你的兒女。

但耶和華這樣說：“就是勇士所俘擄的，也可以奪回，強暴者所搶去的，也可以救出來；與你相爭的，我必與他們相爭；你的兒女，我卻要拯救。

實在的，永恆主是這麼說：『就是勇士擄掠的、也可以拿回，就使強橫人拿去的、也可以搭救過來；跟你相爭的、我必跟他相爭；你的兒女、我必拯救。

然而耶和華如此說：「就算是勇士的俘虜，也必被奪回；強橫者的擄物，也必被救出。與你爭鬥的，我必親自與他爭鬥；至於你的兒女，我必親自拯救。

惟耶和華曰、勇士所俘獲、必脫之、強者所攘奪、必救之、蓋敵爾者、我必敵之、而拯爾子女、

耶和華曰、猛士虜人可以脫、強者獲俘可以救、敵爾者我必敵之、拯爾赤子、

主如是云、勇士所擄、亦能奪歸、強者所攘、亦能解救、敵爾者、我必敵之、必拯救爾之諸子、

But this is what the Lord says:“ Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.

“ Yes, they can,” the Lord answers.“ Prisoners will be taken away from soldiers. Stolen goods will be taken back from the powerful Babylonians. Zion, I will fight against those who fight against you. And I will save your people.

For thus says the Lord:“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.

But the Lord says,“ The captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children.

For this is what the LORD says:“ Even the captives of a mighty man will be taken, and the prey of a tyrant will be delivered; I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your children.

But thus says the Lord:“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.

But thus saith Jehovah, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

For this is what the Lord says:“ Even the captives of a mighty man will be taken, and the prey of a tyrant will be delivered; I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your children.

But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

Indeed,” says the LORD,“ captives will be taken from a warrior; spoils will be rescued from a conqueror. I will oppose your adversary and I will rescue your children.

But Yahweh says,“ Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the plunder retrieved from the fierce, for I will contend with him who contends with you and I will save your children.

This is what the Lord of armies says:“ The sons of Israel are oppressed, And the sons of Judah as well; And all who took them captive have held them firmly, They have refused to let them go.Their Redeemer is strong, the Lord of armies is His name; He will vigorously plead their case So that He may bring rest to their land, But turmoil to the inhabitants of Babylon.

If anyone fiercely attacks you, it will not be from Me. Whoever attacks you will fall because of you.Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows on the fire of coals And produces a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to inflict ruin.No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.

Say to those with anxious heart,“ Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The retribution of God will come, But He will save you.”

Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored; Those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish.You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them, Those who war with you will be as nothing and non existent.

All your sons will be taught by the Lord; And the well being of your sons will be great.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?Who will bring charges against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, but rather, was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?Just as it is written:“ For Your sake we are killed all day long; We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

“ Israel is a scattered flock, the lions have driven them away. The first one who devoured him was the king of Assyria, and this last one who has gnawed his bones is Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.Therefore this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:‘ Behold, I am going to punish the king of Babylon and his land, just as I punished the king of Assyria.And I will bring Israel back to his pasture and he will graze on Carmel and Bashan, and his desire will be satisfied in the hill country of Ephraim and Gilead.

May the violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon,” The inhabitant of Zion will say; And,“ May my blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea,” Jerusalem will say.Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ Behold, I am going to plead your case And take vengeance for you; And I will dry up her sea And make her fountain dry.

The peoples will take them along and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will make them their own possession in the land of the Lord as male and female servants; and they will take their captors captive and will rule over their oppressors.

“ For this is what the Lord says:‘ When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place.

And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”

Now this will be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth.

the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.

And it will be said on that day,“ Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the Lord for whom we have waited; Let’s rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, so that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,and free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.

How am I to put a curse on him upon whom God has not put a curse? And how am I to curse him whom the Lord has not cursed?For I see him from the top of the rocks, And I look at him from the hills; Behold, a people that lives in isolation, And does not consider itself to be among the nations.

So it will be on that day, that his burden will be removed from your shoulders, and his yoke from your neck; and the yoke will be broken because of fatness.

As for you also, because of the blood of My covenant with you, I have set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.

Shake yourself from the dust, rise up, Captive Jerusalem; Release yourself from the chains around your neck, Captive daughter of Zion.For this is what the Lord says:“ You were sold for nothing, and you will be redeemed without money.”For this is what the Lord God says:“ My people went down to Egypt first to reside there; then the Assyrian oppressed them without reason.And now, what do I have here,” declares the Lord,“ seeing that My people have been taken away without reason?” Again the Lord declares,“ Those who rule over them howl, and My name is continually reviled all day long.

Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, because God has pronounced judgment for you against her.”

Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle.

But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother.

For I will bend Judah as My bow, I will fill the bow with Ephraim. And I will stir up your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece; And I will make you like a warrior’s sword.Then the Lord will appear over them, And His arrow will go forth like lightning; And the Lord God will blow the trumpet, And march in the storm winds of the south.The Lord of armies will protect them. And they will devour and trample on the slingstones; And they will drink and be boisterous as with wine; And they will be filled like a sacrificial basin, Drenched like the corners of the altar.And the Lord their God will save them on that day As the flock of His people; For they are like the precious stones of a crown, Sparkling on His land.

It will come about on that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will injure themselves severely. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.On that day,” declares the Lord,“ I will strike every horse with confusion and its rider with insanity. But I will watch over the house of Judah, while I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts,‘ The inhabitants of Jerusalem are a strong support for us through the Lord of armies, their God.’“ On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot among pieces of wood and a flaming torch among sheaves, so they will consume on the right and on the left all the surrounding peoples, while the inhabitants of Jerusalem again live on their own sites in Jerusalem.
