Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together,[ and] come to thee.[ As] I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them[ on thee], as a bride[ doeth].

爾其舉目四望、彼眾咸集以歸爾、耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、爾必以之為妝飾而佩之、束之如新婦之束帶、

爾可四望莫不來歸、我耶和華指己而誓、俾爾撫斯有眾、猶新婦衣麗服、束寶帶。

Lift up your eyes and look around; all your children gather and come to you. As surely as I live,” declares the Lord,“ you will wear them all as ornaments; you will put them on, like a bride.

Look up. Look all around you. All your people are getting together to come back to you. You can be sure that I live,” announces the Lord.“ And you can be just as sure that your people will be like decorations you will wear. Like a bride, you will wear them proudly.

Lift up your eyes around and see; they all gather, they come to you. As I live, declares the Lord, you shall put them all on as an ornament; you shall bind them on as a bride does.

Look around you and see, for all your children will come back to you. As surely as I live,” says the Lord,“ they will be like jewels or bridal ornaments for you to display.

Look up, and look around. They all gather together; they come to you. As I live”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ you will wear all your children as jewelry, and put them on as a bride does.

Raise your eyes and look around; All of them gather together, they come to you. As I live,” declares the Lord,“ You will certainly put them all on as jewelry and bind them on as a bride.

Sing, O barren, thou[ that] didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou[ that] didst not travail with child: for more[ are] the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

For this[ is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for[ as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon[ her] sides, and be dandled upon[ her] knees.As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh[ himself] with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth[ herself] with her jewels.

Fear not: for I[ am] with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth,[ and] with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.

Can a maid forget her ornaments,[ or] a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.

For without[ are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth[ in] righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only[ son]:

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.And if ye[ be] Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at[ thy] side.Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.Who[ are] these[ that] fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that[ men] may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and[ that] their kings[ may be] brought.

And they shall bring all your brethren[ for] an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in[ their] arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon[ their] shoulders.

Children’s children[ are] the crown of old men; and the glory of children[ are] their fathers.

Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
