“ Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!

The Lord answers,“ Can a mother forget the baby who is nursing at her breast? Can she stop having tender love for the child who was born to her? She might forget her child. But I will not forget you.

“ Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.

Can a woman forget her baby who nurses at her breast? Can she withhold compassion from the child she has borne? Even if mothers were to forget, I could never forget you!

耶和华怜爱敬畏祂的人，如同慈父怜爱自己的儿女。

“雅各啊，以色列啊，要记住这些事，因为你是我的仆人。我造了你，你是我的仆人；以色列啊，我不会忘记你。

耶和华说：“以色列年幼时，我就爱他，视他为儿子，把他从埃及召出来。

你们虽然邪恶，尚且知道把好东西给儿女，你们的天父岂不更要把好东西赐给求祂的人吗？

我的百姓遭毁灭时，慈母亲手煮自己的儿女充饥。

亚哈谢的母亲亚她利雅见儿子死了，便决定除掉王室后裔。但约兰王的女儿、亚哈谢的妹妹约示芭把亚哈谢的儿子约阿施从被杀的王子中偷出来，将他和乳母藏在一间卧室里，才躲过亚她利雅，使约阿施没有被杀。

万军之耶和华说：“到我所定的日子，他们必成为我宝贵的产业，我要怜悯他们，如同父亲怜悯他的孝顺儿子。

你有什么难处呢？”妇人说：“这个女人对我说，‘我们今天吃你儿子，明天再吃我儿子。’于是我们把我儿子煮了吃。第二天我叫她把她儿子交出来，她却把儿子藏了起来。”

活孩子的母亲心疼自己的孩子，就说：“我主啊，把孩子给她吧，千万不要杀他！”但另一个女人却说：“孩子不归我，也不归你，把他劈开吧！”王说：“不可杀这孩子，把他交给刚才为孩子求情的女人吧！她是孩子的母亲。”

豺狼尚且哺养自己的幼儿，我的子民却像荒野的鸵鸟一样残忍无情。

因为被敌人困在城中，饥饿难熬，连你们中间最温柔、娇嫩得连脚也不肯踏在地上的妇女，都要偷偷吃掉自己生的婴儿和胎胞，不肯分给所爱的丈夫和子女。

就福音而论，他们成为上帝的仇敌是为了使你们得到福音；就上帝的拣选而论，因为他们祖先的缘故，他们仍是上帝所爱的。因为上帝绝不会收回祂的恩赐和呼召。

愚钝无知、不守信用、无情无义、毫无怜悯。

你们要吃自己儿女的肉。
