郇之民人、居於巴比倫邑中者、宜思免於其難。

埃及人往基列、求乳香藥品、雖多無益、必不得醫、

執弓持戟、殘忍不慈、聲若海濤、乘馬列陳、攻巴比倫人。

邑門寂寞、民坐塗炭而哭泣、

居底本之女、自榮位而下、坐於無水之地、蓋殘害、摩押者、毀爾城垣。

當以我言告之曰、郇邑未字之女、藐視爾、戲笑爾、即耶路撒冷之女、其頷首也、亦適以欺爾。

爾自謂必昇天、位崇隆、越乎至高之星辰、坐峻峭之山、入大會之中、躋北極之所、將及雲霄、比儗至尊。

困苦者爾援以手兮、矜高者爾降其格兮、

當告王與后云、卑以自牧、退居下位、蓋上帝必使爾棄其冕旒、減其容光。

高者降為卑、都城百仞、使之傾圮、成為邱墟、

爾因美麗、中心驕泰、亦因光彩、失其智慧、故我必傾圮爾、使列王目睹。

維爾婦女、逸樂安居、今當起聽我言、歲序既周、葡萄不實、五穀不登、安居之女、因以殷憂、爾曹逸樂安居、必戰栗憂愁、解其衣裳、束麻於腰、

其素自榮華靡、故使之疾苦痛哭、亦若是、彼自謂女王、非嫠婦、必不痛哭、

尊榮則廢棄兮、國位則隕越兮、

老幼仆於逵衢、壯士處女、亡於鋒刃、當爾震怒之時、戮之而不惜兮。

爾自謂必永為主母、不深思此理、不慮後患。然爾淫佚之婦、僣稱主母、自謂無能比儗、必不夫亡子喪。吾語汝、一日之間、夫喪子殤、二難並至。爾惑左道、信巫覡、邪慝方張、患難已集、

郇邑長老坐於塗炭、緘口無言、首蒙灰、腰束麻、耶路撒冷處女、俯首至地兮。

海濱君王、將下其位、解其麗服、去其繡裳、戰慄危懼、坐於塗炭、

約百坐於灰、以片瓦搔身。

素飫肥甘者、今亡於逵衢兮、昔衣絳袍、為人提抱者、今偃於糞壤兮。

歷七晝夜、同坐於地、見約百憂甚、相對無言。

西頓人見敗、若處子被玷、不復忻喜、雖往基底、不獲安居、
