I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I,[ even] my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

It is I who made the earth and created mankind on it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm,[ and] there is nothing too hard for thee:

Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard,[ that] the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary?[ there is] no searching of his understanding.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.So God created man in his[ own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

[ It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof[ are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens[ are] the work of thy hands.

The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
