蓋所許者歸爾曹、貽於子孫、施及遠人、即主我之上帝、所召者也、

迨乎上帝之神、感動人心、則曠野變為良田、良田變為林木、

奉割禮而信之人、偕彼得至、見聖神賦及異邦人、奇之、

其所以救我者、非由我有義行、乃由主矜恤、以更生盥濯我、以聖神復新我、上帝念吾救主耶穌基督、厚賜聖神、

主復使野有泉源、陸有水澤、

我今新有制作、將即彰明、備途於曠野、濬川於荒郊、爾豈不以為意乎。我之選民、行於曠野。濬厥江河、以供其飲、禽獸異類、野犬鴕鳥、靡不仰戴。

當斯時也、山出甘醴、嶺流乳酪、猶大百川、水流不息、維彼泉源、湧於我殿、灌溉矢亭之谷、

貧乏之民、求水不得、口舌煩燥、莫能解渴、我耶和華以色列族之上帝、必聽其祈、而不遺棄。

既高舉在上帝右、受父所許之聖神、則以此降賦、是爾曹所見所聞也、

在彼山林、及我聖岡之四周我必賜以純嘏、使時雨降、甘霖沛焉。

跛者踊躍如鹿、瘖者謳歌不已、曠野之地、水泉洊至、沙漠之區、遙望之、有若池沼、其後將變為滄海矣、昔為野犬棲止之所、今為萑葦叢生之澤、

在野裂磐、使民得飲、猶挹清泉兮。水由磐出、流若溪河兮、

導之於野、裂磐出泉、以解其渴。

使其後裔、名聞列邦、凡見之必知我耶和華錫嘏斯民。

上帝兮、我之上帝、予竭力以求、中心如渴、仰慕不置、我困子野、汲道已絕兮、

不復饑渴、日不得而暴、暑不得而侵、矜憫之者牧之導之、至於水源。

其所為者不徒勞、所生者不夭殤、蓋我耶和華降以純嘏、爰及子孫。
