所餘即作神像偶像、俯伏其前叩拜、禱之曰、求爾救我、因爾即我神、

Then he takes what’s left and makes his god: a carved idol! He falls down in front of it, worshiping and praying to it.“ Rescue me!” he says.“ You are my god!”

He makes a god or his idol with the rest of it. He bows down to it and worships; he prays to it,“ Save me, for you are my god.”

Yet the rest of it he makes into a god, his carved image. He bows down before it and worships; he also prays to it and says,“ Save me, for you are my god.”

And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image; he falleth down unto it and worshippeth, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

「從列國逃脫的人哪，聚集而來，一同近前吧——他們抬著木頭雕刻的偶像，向不能拯救人的神禱告，真是無知

如果真被扔進火窯中，我們所事奉的神也能從烈火燃燒的窯中拯救我們；王啊，他必從你的手中拯救我們！

他靠近那坑的時候，用憂傷的聲音呼叫但以理，開口對但以理說：「永生神的僕人但以理啊！你的神，你一直事奉的那一位，有沒有能夠拯救你脫離那些獅子呢？」那時但以理對王說：「願王萬歲！我的神派遣他的使者封住了獅子的口，使牠們沒有傷害我，因為我在神面前是清白的；王啊，我在你面前也沒有做過任何害人的事。」

哈馬和亞珥拔的神在哪裡呢？西法瓦音的神在哪裡呢？難道他們曾解救撒馬利亞脫離我的手嗎？這些國所有的神明中，有哪一個曾解救自己的國土脫離我的手呢？難道耶和華會解救耶路撒冷脫離我的手嗎？』」

王下令，人就把但以理帶來，扔進獅子坑中。王開口對但以理說：「願你的神，你一直事奉的那一位，親自拯救你！」

有一天，西納基立在自己的神尼斯洛的廟裡下拜，他的兒子亞得米勒和沙利色用刀殺了他，然後逃到亞拉臘地。他的兒子以撒哈頓接替他作王。

他拯救人、解救人，在天上地上施行神蹟奇事，他拯救了但以理脫離獅子的爪。」

因此我發出命令：所有的民族、國家、語言群體中，誰說話冒犯了沙德拉克、米沙克、亞伯尼哥的神，誰就必被千刀萬剮，他的家必變為一堆廢墟，因為沒有別的神能這樣解救人。」
