然后又用剩下的一半做了一个神明，就是雕刻的偶像，向这偶像俯伏叩拜，向它祷告说：“求你拯救我，因你是我的神明。”

尚有餘木、用之造神、以為雕像、俯伏拜之、禱曰、爾其救予、蓋爾為我神也、

更有餘木、以製偶像、以像上帝、俯伏而拜、禱曰、誠我上帝、爾其救予、

所餘即作神像偶像、俯伏其前叩拜、禱之曰、求爾救我、因爾即我神、

From the rest he makes a god, his idol; he bows down to it and worships. He prays to it and says,“ Save me! You are my god!”

And the rest of it he makes into a god, his idol, and falls down to it and worships it. He prays to it and says,“ Deliver me, for you are my god!”

Then he takes what’s left and makes his god: a carved idol! He falls down in front of it, worshiping and praying to it.“ Rescue me!” he says.“ You are my god!”

He makes a god or his idol with the rest of it. He bows down to it and worships; he prays to it,“ Save me, for you are my god.”

Yet the rest of it he makes into a god, his carved image. He bows down before it and worships; he also prays to it and says,“ Save me, for you are my god.”

And the rest of it he makes into a god, His carved image. He falls down before it and worships it, Prays to it and says,“ Deliver me, for you are my god!”

And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image; he falleth down unto it and worshippeth, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

「列國的流亡者啊，你們要聚集到這裡來。那些抬著木頭神像、向不能救人的神明禱告的人真愚昧！

王啊，我們若真被扔進烈焰熊熊的火窯，我們所事奉的上帝必能救我們脫離火窯，祂必從你手中救我們。

到了坑邊，淒聲呼喊但以理：「永活上帝的僕人但以理啊，你忠心事奉的上帝有沒有救你脫離獅子的口？」但以理對王說：「願王萬歲！我的上帝差遣天使封住了獅子的口，不讓牠們傷害我，因為我在上帝面前是清白的。王啊，我在你面前也沒有過錯。」

他們取了公牛預備好，然後從早上到正午不斷地呼求：「巴力啊，求你應允我們！」可是毫無動靜。他們又繞著自己築的祭壇跳個不停。

哈馬和亞珥拔的神明在哪裡呢？西法瓦音的神明在哪裡呢？他們從我手中救撒瑪利亞了嗎？這些國家的神明中有哪個曾從我手中救自己的國家呢？難道耶和華能從我手中救耶路撒冷嗎？』」

王便下令把但以理帶來扔進獅子坑。他對但以理說：「願你忠心事奉的上帝拯救你！」

有一天，他在廟中祭拜他的神明尼斯洛的時候，他兒子亞得米勒和沙利色用刀殺了他，然後逃往亞拉臘。他兒子以撒哈頓繼位。

祂庇護、拯救，在天上地下行神蹟奇事，救但以理脫離獅子的口。」

現在我下令，不論何民、何邦、何族，若譭謗沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌的上帝，必被碎屍萬段，他們的家必淪為廢墟，因為沒有別的神明能這樣施行拯救。」
