耶和華又曰、我之選民、為我臣僕、可為證、灼知予、篤信予、以我為上帝、在我之先、在我之後、無他上帝。

All the nations gather together and the peoples assemble. Which of their gods foretold this and proclaimed to us the former things? Let them bring in their witnesses to prove they were right, so that others may hear and say,“ It is true.”

Which of them told us anything at all about the past? Let them bring in their witnesses to prove they were right. Then others will hear them. And they will say,“ What they said is true.”

Gather the nations together! Assemble the peoples of the world! Which of their idols has ever foretold such things? Which can predict what will happen tomorrow? Where are the witnesses of such predictions? Who can verify that they spoke the truth?

耶和華對假神說：「呈上你們的案件！」雅各的王說：「拿出你們的證據！」讓它們拿出證據來，告訴我們將要發生的事吧！至於先前的事，告訴我們究竟是什麼，好讓我們用心思索得以明白事情的結局；或者直接告知我們即將來臨的事，告訴我們後來的事，好讓我們知道你們是神！你們或好或歹做一些事，讓我們一同驚奇觀看吧！看哪，你們連無有都算不上，你們的作為連虛無也夠不上；那選擇你們的是可憎惡的！我從北方興起一人；他從日出之地而來，他必呼求我的名。他必把掌權者像泥土一樣踐踏，如同陶匠踹踏陶泥。誰從起初宣告這事，好讓我們知道？誰預先告知這事，好讓我們說「他所說的沒錯」？誰也沒有宣告，誰也沒有告知，誰也沒有聽見你們的言語！

你可以提醒我，讓我們一起爭訟！你儘管陳述，好自顯為義！

眾海島啊，你們要在我面前沉默！萬民哪，你們要重新得力！近前來開口吧；讓我們聚在一起辯明公正！

有誰像我呢？讓它前來公布、宣告、陳明那從我設立古時民族以來所發生的事；讓它宣告即將來臨的事和後來要發生的事！你們不要懼怕，也不要害怕！難道我從前不就告知了你們、向你們宣告了嗎？你們是我的見證人！除我以外，難道還有神嗎？沒有別的磐石！我知道沒有！」塑造偶像的全都虛空，他們所喜愛的毫無益處；為偶像本身作見證的，一無所見，一無所知，他們都必蒙羞。

大能的神耶和華已經發話，他從日出之地到日落之處呼喚大地。

因此我從前就向你宣告了，在事情臨到之前就告知你了，免得你說：『這些是我的偶像所行的，是我雕刻和鑄造的偶像所命定的。』你已經聽見了，就當觀看這一切！難道你還不宣告嗎？從今以後，我要告知你新的事，就是你所不知道的隱祕事——

萬民哪，你們當聽這話！當傾聽，世上所有的居民哪——無論地位高低、或貧或富，都當傾聽。

你們全都聚集來聽，假神中誰曾宣告過這些事？耶和華所愛的那位，必行耶和華所喜悅的事對付巴比倫——他的膀臂對付迦勒底人。

「從列國逃脫的人哪，聚集而來，一同近前吧——他們抬著木頭雕刻的偶像，向不能拯救人的神禱告，真是無知——近前宣告，一同商議吧！是誰從古時就告知了這事呢？是誰從前就宣告了這事呢？難道不是我耶和華嗎？除我以外，沒有別的神；我是公義的神和拯救者；除我以外，一個也沒有。

我從起初就宣告末後的事，從古時就宣告尚未成就的事。我說：『我的籌算必成立，我所喜悅的一切，我都必成就。』
