耶和華宣告：「你們是我的見證人，是我的僕人；我揀選你們，為要你們認識我，相信我，明白我就是那一位；在我之前沒有神存在，在我之後也不會有。

“ You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,“ and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.

“ People of Israel, you are my witnesses,” announces the Lord.“ I have chosen you to be my servant. I wanted you to know me and believe in me. I wanted you to understand that I am the one and only God. Before me, there was no other god at all. And there will not be any god after me.

是誰施行並成就了這樣的事，從起初就一直召喚歷代的人呢？就是我耶和華——我是首先的，也與末後的同在；我就是那一位。

「你們這些叛逆的人哪，當記念這事，心志堅定，留心反思！你們當記念亙古以來的往事，因為我是神，別無其二；我是神，沒有誰像我。

這樣，從日出之地到日落之處，人都會知道：除我以外沒有神；我是耶和華，別無其二。

我曾宣告，我曾拯救，我曾告知你們；在你們中間沒有外族的神明。你們就是我的見證人！」耶和華宣告：「我是神，

耶和華以色列的王，以色列的救贖主，萬軍之耶和華如此說：「我是首先的，我也是末後的。除我以外沒有神。有誰像我呢？讓它前來公布、宣告、陳明那從我設立古時民族以來所發生的事；讓它宣告即將來臨的事和後來要發生的事！你們不要懼怕，也不要害怕！難道我從前不就告知了你們、向你們宣告了嗎？你們是我的見證人！除我以外，難道還有神嗎？沒有別的磐石！我知道沒有！」

難道你們不知道嗎？難道你們沒有聽過嗎？難道從起初沒有向你們宣告這事嗎？難道從奠定大地根基以來你們沒有領悟嗎？神坐在大地的圓穹之上，地上的居民好像蚱蜢。他展開諸天如幔子，鋪張穹蒼如居住的帳篷。

反而倒空自己，取了奴僕的形像，成為人的樣式，以人的形態出現，

可是你，以色列啊，我的僕人！雅各啊，我所揀選的，我朋友亞伯拉罕的後裔！

他為見證而來，是要為這光做見證，好讓人都藉著他相信。他不是這光，而是要為這光做見證。

「看哪，我的僕人——我所扶持、我所揀選、我心所喜悅的！我已經把我的靈賜給他，他必給列國帶來公正。

為要人看見就明白，思索就一同明悟：這是耶和華的手所做的，是以色列的聖者所造的。

不過聖靈臨到你們的時候，你們將得著能力，並且要在耶路撒冷，在猶太和撒馬利亞全地，直到地極，做我的見證人。」

但這些事被記下來，是要你們相信耶穌就是基督、是神的兒子；並且使你們因著信，就奉他的名有生命。

約翰把神的話語和有關耶穌基督的見證，凡是他所看到的，都見證出來。

正如你們從蒙愛的人，就是與我們同做奴僕的以帕弗拉那裡所學到的；他為你們做了基督忠心的僕人，

這樣，我們就被看做是神的假見證人，因為我們見證了有關神的事，說神使基督復活了，如果死人真不會復活，神就沒有使基督復活；

看哪！我已經使他作萬民的見證人，作萬民的首領和發令者。

從那信實的見證者、死人中首先復活的、地上眾君王的元首耶穌基督，臨到你們！他愛我們，用自己的血，把我們從我們的罪孽中釋放出來，

「你要給那在勞迪西亞教會的使者寫信說：「那位阿們，就是那信實的、真實的見證者，神創造之物的本源，這樣說：

並且你們也要做見證，因為你們從一開始就與我在一起。
