You have not bought any fragrant calamus for me, or lavished on me the fat of your sacrifices. But you have burdened me with your sins and wearied me with your offenses.

But you have not bought any sweet- smelling cane for me. You have not given me the fattest parts of your animal sacrifices. Instead, you have loaded me down with your sins. You have made me tired with the wrong things you have done.

You have not bought me sweet cane with money, or satisfied me with the fat of your sacrifices. But you have burdened me with your sins; you have wearied me with your iniquities.

You have not brought me fragrant calamus or pleased me with the fat from sacrifices. Instead, you have burdened me with your sins and wearied me with your faults.

You have not bought me aromatic cane with silver, or satisfied me with the fat of your sacrifices. But you have burdened me with your sins; you have wearied me with your iniquities.

You have not bought Me sweet cane with money, Nor have you satisfied Me with the fat of your sacrifices; Rather, you have burdened Me with your sins, You have wearied Me with your wrongdoings.

You have bought Me no sweet cane with money, Nor have you satisfied Me with the fat of your sacrifices; But you have burdened Me with your sins, You have wearied Me with your iniquities.

你們的新月節和所定的節期，是我心裡所恨惡的；它們成了我的重負，我已厭倦不堪。

於是以賽亞說：「大衛家啊，你們要聽！難道你們使人厭倦還不夠，又要使我的神厭倦嗎？

四十年之久，我厭惡了那世代，我說：『他們是心裡迷失的子民，他們不認識我的道路。』

萬軍之耶和華說：「行詭詐的人是受詛咒的——他的畜群中雖有無瑕疵的公畜，他也已經許願要獻上，卻把有瑕疵的動物祭獻給主！要知道，我是大君王，我的名在列國中是可畏的。」

因此，主萬軍之耶和華，以色列的大能者宣告：「啊！我要向我的敵人雪恨，向我的仇敵施行報復！

你們又行了另一件事：用眼淚、哭泣和呻吟遮蓋耶和華的祭壇；因為耶和華不再垂顧你們的供物，也不從你們手中悅納它們。你們還問：「為什麼會這樣呢？」這是因為耶和華在你和你年輕時所娶的妻子之間作證：她雖是你的配偶，是你立約的妻子，你卻背棄了她。神難道不是把你們造成一體，又把他的靈分配給了你們嗎？神要的是什麼呢？是屬神的後裔。所以你們當謹守自己的心靈，不可背棄年輕時所娶的妻子。耶和華以色列的神說：「我實在恨惡休妻的事，也恨惡那用殘暴遮蓋自己衣袍的人！」萬軍之耶和華說：「你們當謹守自己的心靈，不可背信。」你們用你們的話語使耶和華厭倦，還問：「我們是怎麼使他厭倦的呢？」你們使我厭倦是因你們說：「任何作惡的人都在耶和華眼中看為善；耶和華喜悅他們！」又因你們問：「公正的神在哪裡呢？」

我不從你家裡拿公牛，不從你羊圈裡拿公山羊；因為森林中的百獸是我的，千山上的牲畜也是我的。群山一切的飛鳥，我都認識，田野一切的走獸也都屬我。我就算飢餓，也不用對你說，因為世界和其中所充滿的都是我的。難道我吃壯牛的肉，喝公山羊的血嗎？

然而他們悖逆，使他的聖靈憂傷；他就轉成他們的仇敵，親自與他們爭戰。
