不以爾羊燔而獻我、不以祭品尊我、我使爾奉禮物、非累爾也、命爾焚香品、非煩爾也、

不燔犧羊、不獻祭祀、不焚香品、不奉禮物。吾所使爾供役者、非以重任加爾也、

不獻羔羊於我為火焚祭、不獻犧牲以敬我、我未嘗使爾獻禮物煩勞、未嘗使爾焚香厭倦、

You have not brought me sheep for burnt offerings, nor honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with grain offerings nor wearied you with demands for incense.

You have not brought me sheep for burnt offerings. You have not honored me with your sacrifices. I have not loaded you down by requiring grain offerings. I have not made you tired by requiring you to burn incense.

You have not brought me your sheep for burnt offerings, or honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, or wearied you with frankincense.

You have not brought me sheep or goats for burnt offerings. You have not honored me with sacrifices, though I have not burdened and wearied you with requests for grain offerings and frankincense.

「你要對這地所有的民眾和祭司說：『這七十年來，你們在五月和七月禁食、哀哭，是真的為我禁食嗎？當你們吃喝的時候，難道不是為自己吃，為自己喝嗎？

難道人會搶奪神嗎？你們卻搶奪我！你們竟然問：『我們是怎麼搶奪你的呢？』你們是在當納的十分之一和當獻的供物上搶奪我的。

要知道，我的軛是容易負的，我的擔子是輕省的。」

耶和華說：「你們所獻的眾多祭物，對我有什麼意義呢？公綿羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油，我已經膩煩了；公牛、羊羔和公山羊的血，我也不喜悅。你們來朝見我時，誰向你們要求這踐踏我院宇的事呢？不要再帶無用的供物了！獻祭的香，是我所憎惡的；新月節、安息日、宣召的聚會——邪惡的嚴肅集會，是我不能容忍的。你們的新月節和所定的節期，是我心裡所恨惡的；它們成了我的重負，我已厭倦不堪。你們伸開雙手禱告的時候，我必掩目不看你們；就算你們多多禱告，我也不垂聽。你們的雙手沾滿了血！

惡人的祭物，為耶和華所憎惡；正直人的禱告，為他所悅納。

藐視我名的祭司們哪，萬軍之耶和華對你們說：「兒子尊敬父親，僕人敬畏他的主人。我既是父親，我當受的尊敬在哪裡呢？我既是主人，我當受的敬畏在哪裡呢？你們竟然問：『我們是怎麼藐視你名的呢？』你們藐視我的名是因你們把被玷汙的糧食獻在我的祭壇上，卻還問：『我們是怎麼玷汙你的呢？』又因你們說：『耶和華的桌子是可以被藐視的！』你們把瞎眼的動物獻為祭，難道不算為惡嗎？你們把瘸腿的、患病的動物獻為祭，難道不算為惡嗎？你把這些獻給你的省長看看！難道他會喜悅你、接納你嗎？」這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

至於那些宰殺公牛也擊殺人的，祭獻羔羊也打斷狗脖子的，獻上供物也獻上豬血的，燒乳香作記念祭也頌讚偶像的——他們都選擇自己的道路，他們的心喜悅自己那些可憎之事；

惡人的祭物尚且可憎，更何況他獻祭時居心不良呢！

你們不但說：『看，真煩哪！』而且對主的桌子嗤之以鼻。你們把搶來的、瘸腿的、患病的動物帶來——竟然帶來作供物！難道我會從你們的手中悅納牠們嗎？」這是耶和華說的。萬軍之耶和華說：「行詭詐的人是受詛咒的——他的畜群中雖有無瑕疵的公畜，他也已經許願要獻上，卻把有瑕疵的動物祭獻給主！要知道，我是大君王，我的名在列國中是可畏的。」
