I see four men untied and walking about in the middle of the fire unharmed, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods!”Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the furnace of blazing fire; he said,“ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego, come out, you servants of the Most High God, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego came out of the middle of the fire.The satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men, nor was the hair of their heads singed, nor were their trousers damaged, nor had even the smell of fire touched them.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

And He has said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.

Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or in dread of them, for the Lord your God is the One who is going with you. He will not desert you or abandon you.”Then Moses called to Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel,“ Be strong and courageous, for you will go with this people into the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you will give it to them as an inheritance.And the Lord is the one who is going ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not desert you or abandon you. Do not fear and do not be dismayed.”

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though something strange were happening to you;but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that at the revelation of His glory you may also rejoice and be overjoyed.

“ Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name Him Immanuel,” which translated means,“ God with us.”

No one will be able to oppose you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not desert you nor abandon you.

Now therefore, behold, the Lord is about to bring on them the strong and abundant waters of the Euphrates River, That is, the king of Assyria and all his glory; And it will rise over all its channels and go over all its banks.Then it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass through, It will reach as far as the neck; And the spread of its wings will fill the expanse of your land, Immanuel.“ Be broken, you peoples, and be shattered; And listen, all remote places of the earth. Get ready, yet be shattered; Get ready, yet be shattered.Devise a plan, but it will fail; State a proposal, but it will not stand, For God is with us.”

For You have put us to the test, God; You have refined us as silver is refined.

For it is He who rescues you from the net of the trapper And from the deadly plague.He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may take refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and wall.You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day;

By faith they passed through the Red Sea as through dry land; and the Egyptians, when they attempted it, were drowned.

each one’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each one’s work.If anyone’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward.If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet only so as through fire.

But the sons of Israel walked on dry land through the midst of the sea, and the waters were like a wall to them on their right and on their left.

and when those who were carrying the ark came up to the Jordan and the feet of the priests carrying the ark stepped down into the edge of the water( for the Jordan overflows all its banks all the days of harvest),then the waters which were flowing down from above stood and rose up in one heap, a great distance away at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those which were flowing down toward the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. So the people crossed opposite Jericho.And the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan while all Israel crossed on dry ground, until all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan.

There is a river whose streams make the city of God happy, The holy dwelling places of the Most High.God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered; He raised His voice, the earth quaked.The Lord of armies is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.

And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say,‘ They are My people,’ And they will say,‘ The Lord is my God.’ ”

Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are on the sinful kingdom, And I will eliminate it from the face of the earth; Nevertheless, I will not totally eliminate the house of Jacob,” Declares the Lord.“ For behold, I am commanding, And I will shake the house of Israel among all nations As grain is shaken in a sieve, But not a pebble will fall to the ground.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion’s mouth.

And the Lord will utterly destroy The tongue of the Sea of Egypt; And He will wave His hand over the Euphrates River With His scorching wind; And He will strike it into seven streams And make people walk over in dry sandals.And there will be a highway from Assyria For the remnant of His people who will be left, Just as there was for Israel On the day that they came up out of the land of Egypt.

Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you people of Israel; I will help you,” declares the Lord,“ and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Behold, the name of the Lord comes from a remote place; His anger is burning and dense with smoke; His lips are filled with indignation, And His tongue is like a consuming fire;

“ But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, turning you over to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors on account of My name.It will lead to an opportunity for your testimony.So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves;for I will provide you eloquence and wisdom which none of your adversaries will be able to oppose or refute.But you will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, other relatives, and friends, and they will put some of you to death,and you will be hated by all people because of My name.And yet not a hair of your head will perish.

From the Lord of armies you will be punished with thunder and earthquake and loud noise, With whirlwind and tempest and the flame of a consuming fire.

“ But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire, and like launderer’s soap.And He will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the Lord offerings in righteousness.

who by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions,quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured, not accepting their release, so that they might obtain a better resurrection;and others experienced mocking and flogging, and further, chains and imprisonment.They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were tempted, they were put to death with the sword; they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented( people of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in deserts, on mountains, and sheltering in caves and holes in the ground.

“ For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the Lord of armies,“ so that it will leave them neither root nor branches.
