But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel:“ Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

Family of Jacob, the Lord created you. People of Israel, he formed you. He says,“ Do not be afraid. I will set you free. I will send for you by name. You belong to me.

And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say,‘ They are My people,’ And they will say,‘ The Lord is my God.’ ”

Everyone who is called by My name, And whom I have created for My glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made.”

“ Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced; But you will forget the shame of your youth, And no longer remember the disgrace of your widowhood.For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the Lord of armies; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.

who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager for good deeds.

I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.For the sake of Jacob My servant, And Israel My chosen one, I have also called you by your name; I have given you a title of honor Though you have not known Me.

Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you people of Israel; I will help you,” declares the Lord,“ and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

And they* sang a new song, saying,“ Worthy are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slaughtered, and You purchased people for God with Your blood from every tribe, language, people, and nation.

Know that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

For in finding fault with the people, He says,“ Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, When I will bring about a new covenant With the house of Israel and the house of Judah,Not like the covenant which I made with their fathers On the day I took them by the hand To bring them out of the land of Egypt; For they did not continue in My covenant, And I did not care about them, says the Lord.For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel After those days, declares the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds, And write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, And they shall be My people.

“ I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations,

The people whom I formed for Myself Will declare My praise.

This is what the Lord says, He who made you And formed you from the womb, who will help you:‘ Do not fear, Jacob My servant, And Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

The Lord appeared to him long ago, saying,“ I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you out with kindness.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Therefore, keep up your courage, men, for I believe God that it will turn out exactly as I have been told.

Then he said,“ Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have contended with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

“ Then I passed by you and saw you, and behold, you were at the time for love; so I spread My garment over you and covered your nakedness. I also swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you so that you became Mine,” declares the Lord God.

Their Redeemer is strong, the Lord of armies is His name; He will vigorously plead their case So that He may bring rest to their land, But turmoil to the inhabitants of Babylon.

This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the Lord:

The Lord said to Moses,“ I will also do this thing of which you have spoken; for you have found favor in My sight and I have known you by name.”

“ And they will be Mine,” says the Lord of armies,“ on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will have compassion for them just as a man has compassion for his own son who serves him.”

“ Remember these things, Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant, Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me.I have wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud And your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”Shout for joy, you heavens, for the Lord has done it! Shout joyfully, you lower parts of the earth; Break into a shout of jubilation, you mountains, Forest, and every tree in it; For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, And in Israel He shows His glory.This is what the Lord says, He who is your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb:“ I, the Lord, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself And spreading out the earth alone,

Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal:“ The Lord knows those who are His;” and,“ Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to keep away from wickedness.”

For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.

And they will call them,“ The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord”; And you will be called,“ Sought Out, A City Not Abandoned.”

This one will say,‘ I am the Lord’s’; And that one will call on the name of Jacob; And another will write on his hand,‘ Belonging to the Lord,’ And will give himself Israel’s name with honor.“ This is what the Lord says, He who is the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of armies:‘ I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.

This is what the Lord says, He who is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:“ I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to benefit, Who leads you in the way you should go.

Listen to Me, you islands, And pay attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called Me from the womb; From the body of My mother He named Me.

This is what the Lord your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:“ For your sake I have sent to Babylon, And will bring them all down as fugitives, Even the Chaldeans, into the ships over which they rejoice.I am the Lord, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.”

In Your faithfulness You have led the people whom You have redeemed; In Your strength You have guided them to Your holy habitation.

Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine;and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”

then I would reject the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so as not to take from his descendants rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But I will restore their fortunes and have mercy on them.’ ”

“ Have you not observed what these people have asserted, saying,‘ The two families which the Lord chose, He has rejected them’? So they despise My people as no longer being a nation in their sight.

No lion will be there, Nor will any vicious animal go up on it; They will not be found there. But the redeemed will walk there,And the redeemed of the Lord will return And come to Zion with joyful shouting, And everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away.

For You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us And Israel does not recognize us. You, Lord, are our Father, Our Redeemer from ancient times is Your name.

Since neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small storm was assailing us, from then on all hope of our being saved was slowly abandoned.
