不喪膽、不困憊、傳道於世、洲島之民、實瞻望焉。

He grew up before him like a young plant and like a root out of dry ground. He didn’t have an impressive form or majesty that we should look at him, no appearance that we should desire him.He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering who knew what sickness was. He was like someone people turned away from; he was despised, and we didn’t value him.Yet he himself bore our sicknesses, and he carried our pains; but we in turn regarded him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted.But he was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds.We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the LORD has punished him for the iniquity of us all.He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth. When you make him a guilt offering, he will see his seed, he will prolong his days, and by his hand, the LORD’s pleasure will be accomplished.After his anguish, he will see light and be satisfied. By his knowledge, my righteous servant will justify many, and he will carry their iniquities.Therefore I will give him the many as a portion, and he will receive the mighty as spoil, because he willingly submitted to death, and was counted among the rebels; yet he bore the sin of many and interceded for the rebels.

so you will summon a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you will run to you. For the LORD your God, even the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you.”

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD. All the families of the nations will bow down before you,

See, my servant will be successful; he will be raised and lifted up and greatly exalted.Just as many were appalled at you— his appearance was so disfigured that he did not look like a man, and his form did not resemble a human being—so he will sprinkle many nations. Kings will shut their mouths because of him, for they will see what had not been told them, and they will understand what they had not heard.

Yes, the coasts and islands will wait for me with the ships of Tarshish in the lead, to bring your children from far away, their silver and gold with them, for the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, who has glorified you.

The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will accomplish this.

The LORD has made his victory known; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.He has remembered his love and faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen our God’s victory.

The nations will put their hope in his name.

They will not harm or destroy each other on my entire holy mountain, for the land will be as full of the knowledge of the LORD as the sea is filled with water.On that day the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will look to him for guidance, and his resting place will be glorious.On that day the Lord will extend his hand a second time to recover the remnant of his people who survive— from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the coasts and islands of the west.He will lift up a banner for the nations and gather the dispersed of Israel; he will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

May he rule from sea to sea and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.May desert tribes kneel before him and his enemies lick the dust.May the kings of Tarshish and the coasts and islands bring tribute, the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.Let all kings bow in homage to him, all nations serve him.

I will establish a sign among them, and I will send survivors from them to the nations— to Tarshish, Put, Lud( who are archers), Tubal, Javan, and the coasts and islands far away— who have not heard about me or seen my glory. And they will proclaim my glory among the nations.

In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s house will be established at the top of the mountains and will be raised above the hills. Peoples will stream to it,and many nations will come and say,“ Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us about his ways so we may walk in his paths.” For instruction will go out of Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.He will settle disputes among many peoples and provide arbitration for strong nations that are far away. They will beat their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nation will not take up the sword against nation, and they will never again train for war.

Therefore, in the east honor the LORD! In the coasts and islands of the west honor the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.From the ends of the earth we hear songs: The Splendor of the Righteous One. But I said,“ I waste away! I waste away! Woe is me.” The treacherous act treacherously; the treacherous deal very treacherously.

Let them give glory to the LORD and declare his praise in the coasts and islands.

“ Many nations will join themselves to the LORD on that day and become my people. I will dwell among you, and you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you.

The coasts and islands see and are afraid, the whole earth trembles. They approach and arrive.

keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.For consider him who endured such hostility from sinners against himself, so that you won’t grow weary and give up.In struggling against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.

To those who are without the law, like one without the law— though I am not without God’s law but under the law of Christ— to win those without the law.

I have glorified you on the earth by completing the work you gave me to do.Now, Father, glorify me in your presence with that glory I had with you before the world existed.

I will also make you a light for the nations, to be my salvation to the ends of the earth.”This is what the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One, says to one who is despised, to one abhorred by people, to a servant of rulers:“ Kings will see, princes will stand up, and they will all bow down because of the LORD, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel— and he has chosen you.”This is what the LORD says: I will answer you in a time of favor, and I will help you in the day of salvation. I will keep you, and I will appoint you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land, to make them possess the desolate inheritances,saying to the prisoners,“ Come out,” and to those who are in darkness,“ Show yourselves.” They will feed along the pathways, and their pastures will be on all the barren heights.They will not hunger or thirst, the scorching heat or sun will not strike them; for their compassionate one will guide them, and lead them to springs.

but now revealed and made known through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the command of the eternal God to advance the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles—

Coasts and islands, listen to me; distant peoples, pay attention. The LORD called me before I was born. He named me while I was in my mother’s womb.
