誰使雅各遭攘奪、誰付以色列於刼掠者、豈非主乎、因我儕獲罪於主、不欲行主道、不聽從主之律法、

Who handed Jacob over to become loot, and Israel to the plunderers? Was it not the Lord, against whom we have sinned? For they would not follow his ways; they did not obey his law.

Who allowed you to be carried off like stolen goods? Who handed you over to robbers? The Lord did it! We have sinned against him. Israel, you wouldn’t follow his ways. You didn’t obey his law.

Who gave up Jacob to the looter, and Israel to the plunderers? Was it not the Lord, against whom we have sinned, in whose ways they would not walk, and whose law they would not obey?

Who allowed Israel to be robbed and hurt? It was the Lord, against whom we sinned, for the people would not walk in his path, nor would they obey his law.

Who gave Jacob to the robber, and Israel to the plunderers? Was it not the LORD? Have we not sinned against him? They were not willing to walk in his ways, and they would not listen to his instruction.

Who gave Jacob up for spoils, and Israel to plunderers? Was it not the Lord, against whom we have sinned, And in whose ways they were not willing to walk, And whose Law they did not obey?

Who gave Jacob for plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Was it not the Lord, He against whom we have sinned? For they would not walk in His ways, Nor were they obedient to His law.

Who gave Jacob as plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Didn’t Yahweh, he against whom we have sinned? For they would not walk in his ways, and they disobeyed his law.

耶和華說：「我休你們母親的休書在哪裡呢？我把你們賣給了我哪一個債主呢？你們被賣是因為你們的罪惡，你們母親被休是因為你們的過犯。為什麼我來的時候一個人也不在？為什麼我呼喚的時候沒有人回答？是我的臂膀太短不能救贖你們嗎？是我沒有能力拯救你們嗎？看啊，我斥責一聲，海就乾了；我使江河變為曠野，魚類因無水而乾死，發出腥臭。

若城中響起號角，居民豈不恐懼顫抖？若災禍降臨城中，豈不是耶和華的作為？

耶和華向他們發怒，使他們遭到掠奪者的攻擊和四周仇敵的壓制，毫無抵抗之力。

「然而，他們不順從你，背叛你，把你的律法拋在背後，又殺掉勸誡他們歸向你的眾先知，大大褻瀆了你。於是你把他們交在欺壓他們的仇敵手中。他們在患難中向你呼求，你就從天上垂聽，懷著豐盛的憐憫賜給他們拯救者，把他們從仇敵手中拯救出來。

看啊，耶和華的臂膀並非沒有力量拯救，祂的耳朵並非聾得聽不見。你們的罪過使你們與上帝隔絕，你們的罪惡使祂轉臉不看你們，也不聽你們的祈求。

因此，萬軍之耶和華說：「由於你們不遵行我的命令，我要召集北方各族和我的僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，去攻擊這片土地和其中的居民以及周圍各國。我要徹底毀滅他們，使他們的下場很可怕、令人嗤笑、土地永遠荒涼。這是耶和華說的。

耶和華說：「亞述王有禍了！他是我的憤怒之棍，他手中拿著我發烈怒的杖。我要差遣他去攻打一個不虔敬的國家，一個惹我發怒的民族，去搶奪、擄掠他們的財物，像踐踏街上的泥土一樣踐踏他們。

若不是他們的磐石賣掉他們，若不是耶和華拋棄他們，一人怎能趕散他們千人？二人怎能擊潰他們萬人？

耶和華使迦勒底人的王起兵攻打他們，在他們的聖殿裡用刀擊殺他們的壯丁，毫不憐憫少男少女、老人和年高者。耶和華把他們全部交在他的手中。

王大怒，派軍隊去剿滅凶手，燒毀他們的城。

耶和華向他們發怒，把他們交在美索不達米亞王古珊·利薩田的手中，受古珊·利薩田統治八年。

以色列人啊，我要使一個國家，一個歷久不衰的古國從遠方來攻擊你們，你們不明白他們的語言，也聽不懂他們說的話。這是耶和華說的。

主耶和華——以色列的聖者說：「你們回轉、安息便可得到拯救；你們安靜、信靠便可得到力量。但你們卻不肯。

邦國與邦國、城邑與城邑互相攻擊破壞，因為上帝用各樣的災難擾亂他們。

他們卻叛逆，使祂的聖靈憂傷。於是，祂與他們為敵，親自攻擊他們。

「但耶和華是公義的，因為我違背了祂的命令。萬國啊，請聽我的話，看看我的痛苦！我的年輕男女都被擄去。

耶和華向他們發怒，把他們交在非利士人和亞捫人手中。

耶和華因此向祂的子民發怒，厭惡他們，使他們落在列邦的手中，受敵人的轄制。他們的敵人壓迫他們，奴役他們。

我曾向我的子民發怒，讓我的產業被玷污，把他們交在你手中。你對他們毫不留情，甚至讓老人負極重的軛。

「耶和華要使一國從遙遠的地極興起，他們要如鷹飛來襲擊你們。你們不懂他們的語言。

我造光明，也造黑暗；賜平安，也降災禍。這一切都是我耶和華的作為。

「我的罪惡連接成軛，祂親手把它們編在一起，綁在我的頸項上，使我精疲力盡。主把我交給我無力抵擋的敵人。
