I was the first to tell Zion,‘ Look, here they are!’ I gave to Jerusalem a messenger of good news.

I was the first to tell Zion. I said,‘ Look! The people of Israel are coming back!’ I sent a messenger to Jerusalem with the good news.

I was the first to say to Zion,“ Behold, here they are!” and I give to Jerusalem a herald of good news.

I was the first to tell Zion,‘ Look! Help is on the way!’ I will send Jerusalem a messenger with good news.

I was the first to say to Zion,‘ Look! Here they are!’ And I gave Jerusalem a herald with good news.

“ Previously I said to Zion,‘ Behold, here they are.’ And to Jerusalem,‘ I will give a messenger of good news.’

I am the first that saith unto Zion, Behold, behold them; and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.

I was the first to say to Zion: Look! Here they are! And I gave a herald of good news to Jerusalem.

The first[ shall say] to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.

I first decreed to Zion,‘ Look, here’s what will happen!’ I sent a herald to Jerusalem.

O Zion, You who bring good tidings, Get up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, You who bring good tidings, Lift up your voice with strength, Lift it up, be not afraid; Say to the cities of Judah,“ Behold your God!”

How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion,“ Your God reigns!”

Who says of Cyrus,‘ He is My shepherd, And he shall perform all My pleasure, Saying to Jerusalem,“ You shall be built,” And to the temple,“ Your foundation shall be laid.”’

“ I have declared the former things from the beginning; They went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it. Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.

Behold, on the mountains The feet of him who brings good tidings, Who proclaims peace! O Judah, keep your appointed feasts, Perform your vows. For the wicked one shall no more pass through you; He is utterly cut off.

“ Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:‘ I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.

“ Listen to Me, O Jacob, And Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last.

Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah.

“ And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write,‘ These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life:

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning?‘ I, the Lord, am the first; And with the last I am He.’”

“ You are My witnesses,” says the Lord,“ And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.

Then the angel said to them,“ Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
