“谁使一人从东方兴起？谁凭公义把他召到跟前？谁把列国交给他，使他征服列国的君王，用刀将他们化为尘土，用弓将他们沦为风吹的碎秸？

谁从东方激动了一个人，凭公义把他召到自己的脚前来？他把列国交在他面前，他制伏众王；他使他们在他的刀下化作灰尘，他使他们在他的弓下像碎秸一样被吹散。

「誰使一人從東方興起？誰憑公義把他召到跟前？誰把列國交給他，使他征服列國的君王，用刀將他們化為塵土，用弓將他們淪為風吹的碎稭？

誰激動了一個人從東方而起，使他步步碰到勝利，將列國交在他面前，使他制服君王；使他用刀屠碎他們如塵土，用弓射散他們如碎稭呢？

是誰從東方興起了一人，憑公義把他召喚到腳前？是誰把列國交在他面前，讓他制伏君王們？他用刀使他們如塵土，用弓使他們像被吹散的麥稭；

誰使一人起於東方、以義召之、至其足下、俾服列國、制列王、使其刃如塵埃、使其弓如草芥、

誰召義人、至自東方、導之以行、服眾國、制列王、以鋒刃擊敵、以弓矢射眾、擣之成粉、若風揚秕、

足跡所至無不亨通之人、誰激之來自東方、使諸國為其所敗、使列王降服其前、使彼為其刃所擊、彼若塵土、使彼為其弓矢所射、彼若糠秕揚於風、使彼為其刃所擊彼若塵土使彼為其弓矢所射彼若糠秕揚於風或作使彼之刀如塵彼之弓如糠秕揚於風

“ Who has stirred up one from the east, calling him in righteousness to his service? He hands nations over to him and subdues kings before him. He turns them to dust with his sword, to windblown chaff with his bow.

“ Who has stirred up a king from the east? Who has helped him win his battles? I hand nations over to him. I bring kings under his control. He turns them into dust with his sword. With his bow he turns them into straw blowing in the wind.

Who stirred up one from the east whom victory meets at every step? He gives up nations before him, so that he tramples kings under foot; he makes them like dust with his sword, like driven stubble with his bow.

“ Who has stirred up this king from the east, rightly calling him to God’s service? Who gives this man victory over many nations and permits him to trample their kings underfoot? With his sword, he reduces armies to dust. With his bow, he scatters them like chaff before the wind.

Who has stirred up someone from the east? In righteousness he calls him to serve. The LORD hands nations over to him, and he subdues kings. He makes them like dust with his sword, like wind-driven stubble with his bow.

Who has stirred one from the east Whom He calls in righteousness to His feet? He turns nations over to him And subdues kings. He makes them like dust with his sword, Like the wind driven chaff with his bow.

“ Who raised up one from the east? Who in righteousness called him to His feet? Who gave the nations before him, And made him rule over kings? Who gave them as the dust to his sword, As driven stubble to his bow?

Who hath raised up one from the east, whom he calleth in righteousness to his foot? he giveth nations before him, and maketh him rule over kings; he giveth them as the dust to his sword, as the driven stubble to his bow.

Who has stirred him up from the east? He calls righteousness to his feet. The Lord hands nations over to him, and he subdues kings. He makes them like dust with his sword, like wind-driven stubble with his bow.

Who raised up the righteous[ man] from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made[ him] rule over kings? he gave[ them] as the dust to his sword,[ and] as driven stubble to his bow.

Who stirs up this one from the east? Who officially commissions him for service? He hands nations over to him, and enables him to subdue kings. He makes them like dust with his sword, like windblown straw with his bow.

Who has raised up one from the east? Who called him to his foot in righteousness? He hands over nations to him and makes him rule over kings. He gives them like the dust to his sword, like the driven stubble to his bow.

“我耶和華所膏立的古列，我緊握著他的右手，使列國降服在他面前；我也鬆開列王的腰帶；我使門戶在他面前敞開，使城門不得關閉；耶和華對古列這樣說：

他們才剛剛栽上，剛剛種上，他們的樹頭剛剛在地裡扎根，他一吹在其上，他們就枯乾了，旋風把他們像碎稭一樣吹去。

我從北方興起一人，他就來了；他從日出之地而來，呼求我的名；他必來踐踏掌權的，好像踐踏灰泥，又像陶匠踹泥一樣。

我把鷙鳥從日出之地召來，就是把成就我計劃的人從遠方召來。我不但說了，而且也要使我的話實現；我不但計劃好了，而且也必實行。

我搗碎他們，像地上的塵土；我打碎他們，踐踏他們，像街上的爛泥。

“波斯王古列這樣說：‘耶和華天上的神已經把地上萬國賜給我。他指派我在猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。

我憑著公義興起了古列，我必修平他的一切道路；他必建造我的城，釋放我被擄的子民，不必用工價，也不用賞賜，這是萬軍之耶和華說的。”

亞伯蘭一聽見姪兒被人擄去，就抽調他家裡生養的精練壯丁三百一十八人，一直追到但。亞伯蘭和他的僕人趁夜分隊攻擊他們，結果擊敗了他們，又追趕他們直到大馬士革北面的何把，

於是耶和華沒有給約哈斯留下餘民，只剩下騎兵五十人，戰車十輛和步兵一萬人，因為亞蘭王毀滅他們，踐踏他們好像禾場上的塵土。

亞伯蘭九十九歲的時候，耶和華向他顯現，對他說：“我是全能的神，你要在我面前行事為人；你要作完全人。

“波斯王古列這樣說：‘耶和華天上的神已經把地上萬國賜給我。他指派我在猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。你們中間凡是他的子民，都可以上去；願耶和華他的神和他同在！’”

他拉帶著他的兒子亞伯蘭和他的孫子，就是哈蘭的兒子羅得，以及他的媳婦亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊，一同出了迦勒底的吾珥，要到迦南地去；他們到了哈蘭，就住在那裡。

因著信，亞伯拉罕在蒙召的時候，就聽命往他將要承受為業的地方去；他出去的時候，還不知道要往哪裡去。因著信，他在應許之地寄居，好像是在異鄉，與承受同樣應許的以撒、雅各一樣住在帳棚裡。因為他等待那座有根基的城，就是神所設計所建造的。

耶和華對亞伯蘭說：“你要離開本地、本族、父家，到我指示你的地方去。我必使你成為大國，賜福給你，使你的名為大，你也必使別人得福，給你祝福的，我必賜福給他；咒詛你的，我必咒詛他；地上的萬族，都必因你得福。”

這麥基洗德就是撒冷王，又是至高神的祭司。亞伯拉罕殺敗眾王回來的時候，麥基洗德迎接他，並且給他祝福。

看哪！我要使你成為打糧的器具，又新，又鋒利，又有很多利齒；你要揚淨群山，把它們壓得粉碎，又使岡陵變成糠秕。你必簸揚它們，風要把它們吹去，旋風也要把它們吹散；但你要靠耶和華喜樂，以以色列的聖者誇耀。
