勤誨子女、坐於室、行於路、或寢或興、恆論乎此、

惟當自慎、謹守乃心、免忘爾目所見、畢生不去於懷、以之示爾子孫、

異日爾子若問爾曰、此何意也、則告之曰、耶和華以其手力、導我出埃及、脫於奴隸之室、法老頑梗、不釋我往、耶和華將埃及之首生者、或人或畜、盡皆誅戮、故我以首生之牡畜祭之、其初胎之男子、則贖之焉、

我必不死、仍得生存、宣揚耶和華之作為兮、

爾手可為者、當盡力為之、緣爾將至之陰府、無工作、無籌畫、無知識、無智慧、○

我畢生頌美耶和華、我命尚在、必歌頌我上帝兮、

時尚晝、我儕必行遣我者之行、夜至、則無人能行矣、
