陰間不能稱謝你，死亡不能讚美你，下墳墓的人不能仰望你的信實。

陰府死亡之輩、不能彰爾榮譽、臨墓入土之人、不得望爾踐言、

For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot sing your praise; those who go down to the pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

People in the grave can’t praise you. Dead people can’t sing praise to you. Those who go down to the grave can’t hope for you to be faithful to them.

For Sheol does not thank you; death does not praise you; those who go down to the pit do not hope for your faithfulness.

For the dead cannot praise you; they cannot raise their voices in praise. Those who go down to the grave can no longer hope in your faithfulness.

For Sheol cannot thank you; Death cannot praise you. Those who go down to the Pit cannot hope for your faithfulness.

For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.

Indeed Sheol does not give you thanks; death does not praise you. Those who descend into the pit do not anticipate your faithfulness.

For Sheol can’t praise you. Death can’t celebrate you. Those who go down into the pit can’t hope for your truth.

凡你的手能做的，都要盡力去做，因為在你要去的陰間沒有工作，沒有計劃，也沒有知識和智慧。

因為死去的人不會記得你，誰會在陰間讚美你呢？

「耶和華啊，我被毀滅、落入墳墓有何益處？我歸於塵土，還能讚美你、宣揚你的信實嗎？

他們和屬於他們的一切就這樣活活地墜入陰間，地在他們上面合攏起來，他們就從會眾中滅亡了。

惡人因惡行而滅亡，義人到死仍有倚靠。

這些人要受永遠的刑罰，但義人要得到永遠的生命。」

況且，在你我中間隔著一道深淵，這邊的人不能到你那邊去，你那邊的人也不能到這裡來。』「財主說，『我的先祖啊，那麼求你派拉撒路去我父親家裡，因為我有五個弟兄。讓拉撒路去警告他們，以免他們也來到這痛苦的地方。』「但是亞伯拉罕卻說，『他們可以聽從摩西和眾先知的話呀！』「財主回答說，『我的先祖亞伯拉罕啊！他們不會聽的。但如果有一個死而復活的人去警告他們，他們肯定會悔改！』「亞伯拉罕說，『如果他們不聽從摩西和眾先知的話，即使一個人從死裡復活，他們也不會信服。』」

但那些本應承受天國的人反會被趕出去，在黑暗裡哀哭切齒。」

死人不能歌頌耶和華，下到墳墓的人不能讚美祂。但我們要讚美耶和華，從現在直到永遠。你們要讚美耶和華！

你要行神蹟給死人看嗎？死人會起來讚美你嗎？（細拉）墳墓裡的死人怎能宣揚你的慈愛呢？滅亡的人怎能傳揚你的信實呢？
