I waited patiently till dawn, but like a lion he broke all my bones; day and night you made an end of me.

昔爾傷予、害同折骨、今也求爾施恩、使予忻喜兮、

王命曳訟但以理之人、及其妻孥、投於獅穴、未至穴中、獅即嚙之、斷傷其肢體、

爾手責予、求爾免之兮、

我必若獅臨以法蓮、若稚獅至猶大、斷傷百物而去之、亦取所得、援手無人、

先知之徒曰、因爾不聽耶和華命、離我之時、必見殺於獅。同儕離之、果為獅所殺。

如我自許、爾捕我若獅、顯爾異能。爾數責我、爾屢譴我、若軍士之迭出而攻我。

我享平康、彼來搖撼、執我之頸、擲之於地、以我作的。射之以矢。矢人環我、剖我腎、瀝我膽、不蒙矜宥。屢加撻伐、突如其來、若壯士之攻擊。

既往之後、途間遇獅、為獅所殺、尸仆於途、獅立尸旁、驢遺於側。有人過之、見尸仆於途、獅立於旁、則入老先知所居之邑、以告。先知聞之曰、此上帝之僕、違耶和華命者、故耶和華付之於獅、使被傷殘、置之死地、以應所言。

爾曹忘我、當思余言、恐我毀爾、援手無人兮。

故爾曹患病衰弱、甚而至死者多矣、苟能自審、奚至定罪、然主鞫我、而我薄受譴、免與世偕亡、
